*his perspective*

She lied there limp in my arms. Her warmth still made my body shake so I knew she was going to be okay. Whoever that man was obviously wasn't there to chat. Instead he was violating with violence to my girl. I carried her body down the street. Her head rested on my chest and she was not at all heavy. Infact she was quite light. I started tearing up knowing that she had been hurt.

Once I got to my house I pushed her into my window and she plopped on the bed with me following. I brushed the hair out of her eyes and examined her. Her redish brown hair was pulled at and was falling out of the sloppy pony tail she had put it in. Her eyes where closed but red and puffy from crying. She had a swollen cheek from blows to the face. It was starting to form a bruise. Her lips were cracked and bloody and her face was pale. I lifted up her shirt to her ribs and saw that her ribs where bruised. She looked so hurt and in pain. I went into the bathroom and got some medical tape. I bandaged her ribs and pulled the covers over her. I decided to sleep on the floor.

When the sun was just over the hill I woke up to some loud groaning noises. Looking at my watch it was eight in the morning. I looked over to my bed and saw Molly's eyes fluttering open. I smiled at her when she fully opened her eyes.

She looked around and a small gasp escaped her lips. Her eyes widened and then she winced bringing her hand up to touch the side of her face. She looked at me and looked confused.

"Did we..." She trailed off looking stunned

"No if we had I don't think I would of been sleeping on the floor." I smiled thoughtfully up at her.

"Then what am I doing here...?" She brought her knees up to her chest and hugged them.

"A man in the alley way started beating you when I came around you passed out and he took off running. I carried you to my house and bandaged your ribs they looked pretty bad and I'm going to give you some ibprofin." I walked into the bathroom but she caught me by surprise with her words.

"Why are you helping me...?" I instantly got irritated. I've already explained that. I turned around and looked her in the eyes. My emotions softening as I saw her eyes teary and her hugging her knees rocking back and forth.

"Because you need a friend and I want to be that friend." I got the medicine and walked back into the room with some water and gave it to her she gulped it down and smiled.

"Thanks." I brushed the hair out of her eyes.

"Did you know the man that was doing that to you."

Her face grew pale and her hands started to shake.

"I- i- we- we don't know each other that well..." She glanced up at me and I took her hand in mine.

"That's okay. I won't tell anyone your secrets safe with me."

She looked like she was holding back.

"Well... When um when I was eight my mom met this guy..." She looked up as if she didn't know if this was okay. I squeezed her hand.

"She um started dating him... It was the first time she was happy in a long t-time." I started rubbing circles on her hand with my thumb.

"His name was Lynn. That was that man. When I was small my mom trusted him alone with me as a child. An undeveloped child. Flat chested non puberty child." She glanced up at my eyes then dropped them to the covers.

"He started touching me he'd tell me it was like hide and seek. I'd run and hide and he'd count and find me and drag me into my moms room only to touch me and do unbearable things. If I cried out he'd cover my mouth, as if I was no meaning to him and he just wanted to get his cowardly lustful temptations done. It happened for seven years. When I was thirteen him and my mom where getting married. He told me he was going to rape me if they got married so I told my mom. Soon later he was put in jail. That Um that night on the street he said that he'd find me again and fully have sex with me and then kill me or beat me. Then you came..." She looked up at me and gave a weak smile before looking back down. I tipped her chin up and looked her in the eyes. She covered her forearm and wrist all of a sudden.

"Why do you wear the sweat shirt."

"For the seven years of this happening I thought about suicide. I cut my arms and legs I have little scars and I just I can't bear to show people." She looked into my eyes. I took her wrist and looked at them. They where just cut barely. And yet in my eyes she was still beautiful. I looked into her eyes and small tears ran down her cheeks.

"Hey don't cry." I wiped her tears away and brought my lips closer to hers. I needed her touch.

She brought her mouth closer so we were barely apart. Then I closed the gap and gently let my lips rest on hers, they where still soft mind the cuts on them. But that was okay. I pulled back to see her eyes closed and when the flickered open she looked at me sheeply. She then did something I never thought she'd do. She took my face in her delicate hands. And pushed her lips against mine desperately wanting more. She grabbed hold of my shirt and I pulled away hugging her in my arms. She was so delicate and that is what she will always be.
