Jem couldn't believe he got spanked. He hadn't been spanked since forever. And in front of Dill? His self esteem defiantly went through the floor. He sighed. He wished it all would end. He was mad at Scout. He was mad at Dill. He was mad at Atticus. He was mad at everyone. He wished they would just disappear. He sighed again, why couldn't they? Just all go away? Maybe Jem could run away. Yeah, that's it! He'll run away. Tomorrow though, he was too tired to run away tonight. He honestly couldn't wait.
