It's crazy how much of Ivy's past has come back to her in such a short time. Not only did I meet the Madddox Silver, but now I've also had the pleasure of meeting Adrianna and her son!
So didn't expect that from everything Ivy had told me about her, but it makes sense in a way I guess.
It took me a long time to get Ivy to trust me. To befriend me. And now everyone who was ever important to her is coming back. So where will that leave me? It's hard enough as it is to be in love with you're best friend, but to compete with her past?
As she stands there talking to Adrianna I can't help but smile. I mean I was anxious at first because I know how much the lost of Adrianna was for Ivy. Shit she's the reason Ivy and I probably even have a friendship to begin with.
Flashback:
I come to the stacks to get away from people but now everyone thinks its a place to hook up or fuck around. Senior year and I need to work extra hard for this. Being a medical student isn't a fun time but its worth it in the end.

Walking further into the library I stop when I hear faint sobs. I wouldn't have caught them if I hadn't seen her sitting there on the floor. Causing me to take a double look to make sure my eyes weren't fucking with me. Her forehead on her knees as she clutches them to her chest. Her chocolaty hair covering her face, while her back pack sits at her side.
Fuck...
Rolling my eyes I take a deep breath. Looking around no one is anywhere close which is most likely the reason she's here in the first place seeking solace in herself. By herself. Should I even bother her? Probably not, but seeing girls crying makes me uncomfortable and I know if I walk away i'll feel shitty. Lightly groaning I walk toward the crying girl.
"Um hey." speaking gently I barely jump when she looks up at me. Her head popped up so quick it scared the shit out of me.
Sniffling she stands. Saying something to me but I cant help but think how effortlessly beautiful she is. Even with mascara running down her cheeks. I slightly smile.
"Hello?" she says waving her hand in my face causing me to flinch.
"Oh i'm sorry, I couldn't help but hear you crying and I wanted to see if you were alright by chance."
She rubs under her eyes with her jacket smudging the mascara more but removing most of it. "Yeah im alright thanks." she says rolling her eyes. "Um I can't help it but do I know you?" I ask causing her to exhale and shake her head disapprovingly.
