I carry my grilled chicken and spinach salad up to the roof. There were foods that looked really delicious, but this salad had the most iron in it, so I went with this. I open the metal door and it shuts behind me with a clang. I make my way towards the edge of the roof where a tall, chain link fence prevents anyone from falling.
I lean against the fence as I eat my salad, staring up at the sky and letting my thoughts wander.

"You're in my spot." An irritated voice says.

I look up and I meet eyes with Bakugou. "It's literally the first day! How can this be your spot?!" I reply, annoyed.

"It's got the best view." He mutters. "If you're gonna watch the fucking clouds, go sit somewhere else."

I roll my eyes. "And if I don't?"

"I'll beat you so hard you won't be able to move." He retorts.

"Like that's going to happen." I mutter.

"BITCH, I JUST WANT TO EAT IN PEACE!" He exclaims.

"You're the one who spoke to me first." I say as I take another bite of my salad. "Why the hell do you want to see the stupid city so badly?"

"Because it's nice when the cherry blossoms bloom." He mutters.

"I hate it when the cherry blossoms bloom." I grumble. "They shed their petals everywhere like they're trying to cover up the city's ugliness with mother nature's beauty." His eyebrows raise in surprise as I continue. "This society is ugly. I can't believe people are out here calling each other stupid names like "quirkless", "hero", or "villain"." My eyes widen when I realize I just blew my cover. 'Great fucking job, me!'

"Why the hell are you here, then?" He asks.

"Because, society is fucked up and I want to save it." I reply. It's technically only half a lie.

"Listen, I could care less, but can I sit down? You're still in my fucking spot!" He exclaims.

"If you can beat me in a fight, I'll let you sit." I smirk, knowing I'll win. "No quirks."

"Alright." He returns the smirk confidently. "You're just some little girl, I'll beat your ass easily."

'Just some little girl, eh?' I smile. I already have the upper hand since he's underestimating me. "Alrighty, let's dance." He throws the first punch and I quickly dodge it. I grab his wrist and throw him over my shoulder. His eyes widen in surprise, but they return to their regular, angry state in a flash. He grabs my arms and pulls me down with him. I quickly pivot my feet and stabilize myself before attempting to put him in a headlock. He realizes what I'm doing and catches my arm, preventing it from moving.
He tries to twist it behind my back, but I headbutt him under his chin and he lets go, stumbling backwards a bit.
Throw a punch with my left as a feint and as he goes to block it, I throw a punch with my right. He ducks and I move behind him. I grab his arm, twist it behind his back, and push the backs of his knees with my knees, causing him to fall forward. I have my leg across his legs and one arm pressing his left arm to the ground while the other pins his right arm to his back.

We pant as we catch our breaths. "I win." I smile and get off of him just as the bell rings.

"I want a rematch!" He shouts.

"Nope, we have class now." I say as I pick up my empty lunch tray and head back downstairs. I could almost hear the anger boiling inside of him as I leave the rooftop.

——-

"What's gotten you into such a good mood?" Ochako asks as she walks up to me.

"Oh nothing." I smile innocently as the dismissal bell rings.

"Fight me again." Bakugou says determinedly from behind me.

"Nah, I'm tired. I want to go home." I reply.

"Bitch, yo-"

"No."

"Fight m-"

"No."

"Let me spe-"

"No. We are not going for a rematch right now." I turn around and flick his forehead before leaving the classroom with Ochako.

"Wait, you guys fought?" She asks me.

"Yeah, and I won so he's being a salty ass." I reply.

We walk next to each other until we reach a fork in the road. "Well, this is where we part ways." Ochako lives in the opposite direction of the train station, so we wave goodbye and part ways.

As I walk towards the station, I feel a presence behind me. I turn around and spot that damn porcupine.
"Why are you following me?" I ask.

"I'm heading to the train station, dumbass." He growls.

"I've never seen you on the train before." I add suspiciously.

"I don't feel like walking home today." He replies.

I smirk. "Considering I beat you pretty bad, I would be too tired to walk home, as well."

"You bitch!" He yells as he runs at me. I quickly run into the train station, hoping to hide in the crowd. Unfortunately, there was only one other old lady. I gulp as I sit on the bench and try to blend in.
Of course, it doesn't work.

"I'm not fucking tired or whatever! Fight me, here, now, rematch." He exclaims.

The train arrives and I say, "I have to be home now. Tom- my parents expect me home soon. Sorry- but not really." I say as get on the train. He follows me.

"I fucking hate you so damn much!" He barks.

"I love you too." I reply jokingly. "I mean, that was sarcasm!" My eyes widen when I realize what I said.

He laughs. "You should see the stupid face you're making right now!"

"Shut up!" I say. "I can't possibly look more stupid than you actually are."

He stops laughing. "I'm not fucking stupid! I was top of my class in middle school!"

"I was homeschooled, so I wouldn't know." I shrug, lying- but only half lying.

"Oh, sucks to be you." He mutters.

The train comes to a stop. "This is my stop. Bye bitch." He gets off the train. I then plug in my earphones to listen to music until the train reaches Kamino.
