"I'm not saying that because I'm a traitor," The next words just tumble out of my mouth with an unfamiliar confidence, "but because I'm a hero."

Kaniko seems taken aback by my statement. She scoffs, turns around and leaves the bathroom.

"What was that about?" Mina asks.

"I'm not sure." I mutter, my eyes fixated on the door as it swings shut.

-----

"All staff please report to the principal's office. All student please head to the cafeteria in an orderly fashion." Principal Nezu's voice booms through the P.A system.

The sound of chairs scraping the floor fills the room as we all stand up. "Study for your math test. I'll see you all soon." Midnight says.

The cafeteria is loud as usual with Kirishima and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu conversing very loudly, the girls taking pictures on their phones, and everyone else chattering away. I groan as I rest my head on the table. 'Study for the math test my ass.'

"DEKU!" I wince as Katsuki's loud voice pierces through the air. I look up and spot Midoriya scrambling on the floor to pick up the things that fell out of his pencil case.

"S-Sorry Kacchan! I didn't see you there!" He squeaks. I stand up to help the poor broccoli-boi. "Th-Thanks, Rei."

Katsuki scoffs. "Tch!"

"Kaaatsukiiii~" A high-pitched voice calls out.

I roll my eyes. 'Not her...' I watch as Kaniko throws herself on top of the explosive hedgehog.

"She's got some guts..." Midoriya mutters and I nod in agreement.

"Get off me," Katsuki growls. "Before I make you."

"Oooh, someone's a little hard to get." She giggles obnoxiously.

I glare at her. "He said get off." I snap. 'Can't this girl take a hint?'

She narrows her blue eyes at me. "Sorry, didn't realize you were his girlfriend. You certainly don't look good enough for him, villain." She hisses.

"Don't call her that!" Katsuki snarls. "And we're just friends!"

I feel a pang in my chest. 'What's wrong with me? He didn't say anything but the obvious...'

"Hey, hey, hey!" Midoriya jumps in. "I heard Lunch Rush made a bunch of dango! How about we go get some?"

"Ooh! I love dango!" Kaniko says. "I'll join you!"

'Is she bipolar?!' I think. "I'll pass." I say as I sit down at a table. "I'm not very hungry."

Katsuki sits down next to me. "I'm not hungry either." He states and Kaniko glares at me.

"Let's go, Kaniko!" Midoriya then drags Kaniko away.

I huff exasperatedly. Something about Kaniko makes my blood boil. I can't tell if it's her fake-friendliness or her being two-faced, but everytime she's around me and Katsuki, it makes my heart drop. My only question is, why? What she said in the bathroom the other day, I can tell it goes deeper than hating me. I can tell that it's more than just a point of view. I can tell that she has reasons for being this way. I just need to figure out why.

*Kaniko's POV*

I don't get it. This class is like a family and they're even including that traitor! Shouldn't she be shunned away? Shouldn't she be untrustworthy? Why is everyone so kind to her when she turned her back on them at USJ like last weeks leftovers? Traitors are liars. They're two-faced and they disgust me. Traitors find you when your helpless and they lend a hand, but then they let go and watch you fall. Traitors tell you you're safe and read your bedtime stories, but then they burn down your house while you're asleep. Traitors hug you and help you smile before taking all of your smiles away. I've forgotten to smile, and it's all her fault.
