Blue eyes. A piercing blue surrounded by dark patches of skin stitched together. His hair is darker than the blackest night and puffed up in soft spikes.
And a girl. Short, but the air around her chills my bones to the marrow. Her smile is too wide, her eyes have a crazed look in them.
"Take them, Shigaraki."I gasp and bolt upright on my bed. I huff and pant as I catch my breath. 'What a dream...' I think. I look at the clock on my wall. '3:20. It's too early for this...' Ever since the Sports Festival, I've been having frequent nightmares and they've all been about Tomura or the League. I have no idea how my mind is coming up with such plots, but they feel so real! It's like being in a horror movie!
After calling down, I realize how dry my mouth is. 'I need water.'
I get up from my bed and wince slightly at my feet touching the cold, hardwood floor. The house has been colder ever since I've started staying here alone- and I'm not talking about temperature-wise.Creeping down the steps, I make my way to the kitchen- making sure I turn all of the lights on. It seems irrational to have a fear of the dark when the abandoned bar I used to live in was dark all the time, but this house is quite large compared it.
As I turn on the lights in the kitchen, I jump at the figure in the dining chair. Out of instinct, I rush toward them and put my arm around their neck."Calm down, it's just me, princess!" Ryuusuke frantically hushes me.
"That's exactly the problem!" I exclaim, crossing my arms. "How did you get in?"
"The window, duh." He replies and I glare at him as he sits innocently in the dining chair. "You should really keep those locked since you can't defend yourself anymore."
"Excuse me? Just because I don't have a quirk doesn't mean I'm helpless!" I respond. "I just put you in a choke."
"Only because I let you." He adds with a smirk.
"Whatever." I mutter. "Anyways, you have to get out. According to the agreement we had with the police, I'm not supposed to be unsupervised, but with all this stuff happening, I guess they forgot that my legal guardian is comatose right now."
"But you are supervised," Ryuusuke starts. "by me!"
I deadpan at him. "Great! The person who put Aizawa in a coma in the first place!" I sarcastically say. "Now, you have to leave before I finish drinking my water." I say as I fill my cup.
"Why are you even awake?" He suddenly asks.
I put down my cup. "I could ask you the same."
"I haven't slept properly in years." He chuckles a bit.
"How do you look so alive then?" I ask.
"Do I?" He dramatically puts his hand on his forehead. "I guess my looks are just too good for some insomnia to affect!"
I roll my eyes. "Why don't you put yourself to sleep with your quirk?"
"You think I haven't tried before?" He says. "My quirk doesn't work on myself."
"I see..." I mutter. "I can sympathize with you at the moment. I haven't been sleeping very well either."
"Oh?" His smile turns a bit upside down.
"I keep having nightmares." I reply as I drink my refreshing water.
"I can help with that." Ryuusuke pops.
"No." I reply immediately.
"Why not?"
"Your quirk leaves traces. They'll know you've been here if they test the air." I state. "And I'm not going to let you fill my house with sleeping gas."
"I won't fill your house if I'm right next to you." He remarks. "I'll just follow you to bed."
"That sounds unpleasant." I say.
"I promise I won't do anything! Plus, what is there that I haven't already seen?"
I blush. "Shut up!"
"Oh! I see now!" He exclaims.
"You do?" I quirk an eyebrow.
"Yes! You feel like you're cheating on your boyfriend!"
My already red face heats up even more. "H-He's not my boyfriend!" I stutter.
Ryuusuke laughs. "Then what's the big deal? I'm just helping you fall asleep."
"I guess..." I trail off. 'He does have a point...' I think. "Fine. But no touching or moving or-"
"I get it! I'll respect your space." Ryuusuke cuts me off.
"Alright."

I wake up to the sun shining brightly in my eyes. 'Please don't be time for school. Please don't be time for school.' I chant as I turn to face my clock. My eyes widen when I see not my clock, but Ryuusuke laying on the other side of my bed.'Right...he's here....' I think. To be honest, that was the best sleep I've had in a while! I sit up and stretch, feeling refreshed. I take a look at my clock and my eyes almost bulge out of their sockets when I see the time; 10:20.
I scramble out of the bed and rush to the bathroom, taking a brisk shower before changing into my uniform. Rushing out the door, I don't even bother to eat breakfast.I sprint like I've never sprinted before. After throwing my ID card in the security guards' faces, I dash down the hall to class 1-A. I take a moment to catch my breath and open the door.
"You're late, Tamiko." Midnight states.
'Yeah, no shit.' I think. "Sorry." I bow and take a seat at my desk.
"You ran so fast outside! You must've been faster than Iida!" Hagakure remarks.
"That's not something to be proud of." I mutter as I take my books out of my bag.
I begin to follow along with the lesson when a subtle bump on the back of my chair gets my attention. I ignore it and continue reading.
Another bump make me jump up a bit, but I ignore it again. 'Katsuki, I swear....'
This time, a foot kicks the back of my seat. I spin around and face him. He just smirks.
My heart pounds a bit at his expression, but I turn around to face the front again. As Midnight turns around to write the homework on the board, a paper ball lands on my desk. I open it and see in Katsuki's neat handwriting, "Meet me on the roof at lunch". I frown and write on the back, "We aren't allowed to go up there." I pass the paper back to him behind my back. He takes it and I hear him write something else before the paper ball lands on my desk again. "Do you think I care?" He wrote. 'How did I know he was going to say that.' I smile a bit.——-
The lunch bell rings and I rise form my seat along with everyone else. My stomach grumbles and I decide to get something from the cafeteria before going up to the roof.Since I didn't eat breakfast, I decided to grab a big bowl of ramen before carrying it up to the rooftop.
I see Katsuki in our usual spot looking up at the sky."Boo!" I say and he jumps a bit. I frown. 'He's not normally jumpy like this...' I remark as I sit down next to him.
"So, why'd you ask me to to come up here?" I ask. "When someone finds us, we're going to be in a lot of trouble."
"If someone finds us." He says. "Plus, I don't care if I get in trouble for something like this."
"Fair enough." I say as I slurp on my noodles. "You still haven't answered my question, though."
He doesn't reply. I frown and wave my hand in front of his face.
"Katsuki? Are you okay?""I'm fine." He mutters. "Magnet-face, I-"
