I was slightly taken aback since I didn't expect Katsuki Bakugou of all people to say that. I felt small tears forming in the corners of my eyes and I cracked a small smile. 'I've never had a family like this.' It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

"Hey, don't cry, magnet-face." He grumbles.

"Sorry, sorry." I wipe my eyes. 'I like this. Maybe I'll put off telling him that I'm his childhood best-friend. I don't want things t change; I like how we are right now.' I think. "Oh, what were you going to tell me a few days ago?"

"Wha- oh, that." He looks at the ground. "I know that you like Icy-hot."

"What?!" I stare at him in shock before cracking up. "Pffft."

"What the fuck is so funny, huh?!" He snaps.

"I don't like Shoto that way." I state. "I can't believe you thought that!" I laugh.

He looks surprised and embarassed. "Good. I don't want you dating a bastard like him." He says.

"Are you my dad or something? I can date whoever I want." I huff. "Or perhaps...you're jealous?" I purr teasingly.

The tips of his ears go red. "What?! Why would I be jealous?! You know what, date Icy-hot! I don't care!"

I laugh at his reaction. "I already told you, I dont like him that way."

A nurse walks in, interrupting our playful banter- or rather, me teasing Katsuki. "Excuse me, visiting hours are over." She states. I look over to the clock and realize it's already 10:00 PM.

Katsuki gets up. "Later, magnet-face." He says.

"Bye, Katsuki." I wave as he leaves the room behind the nurse, leaving me alone in my dark room with only a sliver of moolight peeking out from the curtains illuminating it. I get up from my hospital bed and take out the IV sticking into my arm. I walk over to the winow and push open the curtains all the way, allowing the moonlight to fill my room. I open the winow slightly, letting a cool breeze in. I smile as I feel the fresh air hit my face. I stare up at the full moon shining bright while the clouds try to obscure the light. The stars twinkle in the sky and I gawk at their beauty. I didn't have a window in my room back at the villains' base because it was underground. I frown as I remember the picture still sitting on my nightstand. 'I wish I had it with me.' This new sight of the sky brings new feelings with it. I couldn't quite place my finger on what exactly it was, but it was a beautiful feeling I haven't felt in a long time. It made my heart swell and mind calm. 'Somewhere out there, Katsuki might be looking at the sky too.' I think as a soft smile makes its way onto my face. I wish this peace and tranquility could last forever, but all good things must come to an end.

-----

A knock sounded at my door, waking me up. To be honest, I wasn't really asleep and was just resting my eyes and thinking about my classmates. "Come in." I say as the door opens to reveal Katsuki dressed in his uniform.

"Don't you have school, Katsuki?" I ask him.

"I still have an hour." He mutters as he sits down next to me.

I stand up and lean over to fix his collar. "You should really wear your uniform properly." I say. I look up at him and blush. I didn't realize how close our faces were until now. He looks away and I sit back down on my hospital bed.

"Did you sleep okay?" He asks win a soft tone- obviously trying his best to be nice.

"What is this? Are you caring about me?" I tease in mock shock.

"Tch, I really hate you." He grumbles.

"Oh, I know you really don't." I smirk. "Anyways, I did sleep pretty well. I was looking up at the nightsky. Do you do that?"

"I guess." He mutters.

"I didn't have a window in my room back at the league's base- oh, sorry. I shouldn't bring them up-"

"No, it's fine. If you need to talk, talk." He states.

"Thanks." I say. "I left something really important to me back in my old room." I sigh as I think of the picture of me and Katsuki.

"What was it?" He asks.

"It was a picture of me and my friend." I reply. "It was really special to me, but I doubt I'm ever getting it back again."

"By the way, what was all of that metaphorical shit you were saying bck at USJ?" He asks as he raises an eyebrow.

"Oh, it was just kind of how I view things. To me, everybody is made of glass. You can't see it because it's clear, but when someone finally shatters, it's easy to see how fragile people are. You don't notice how fragile people are until they break." I explain. "The horrible realization that came along with that conclusion was that this whole society is built by people who've been shattered. Everybody tries to glue themselves back together, but ultimately, they can't. No glue can fix cracks made in glass, they'll still be there. The worst part is how everyone is so desperate to fix themselves so when they can't, they shatter themselves or break someone else. Life's an endless loop of pain that can't be broken." I state.

He just stares at me for a moment. "You must really hate society, which I agree with."

"I hate it because it's true." I sigh an take a look at the clock. "Katsuki!" I exclaim unexpectedly.

"What?!" He shouts back.

"School starts in twenty minutes!"

He bolts up from his seat says good-bye quickly and shuts the door behind himself. I sigh. 'That boy really is something else.' I smile as I stare at the door. An unfamiliar feeling in my stomach follows my thoughts of Katsuki. 'What is wrong with me?' I sit lean back against the head of the bed. I try to close my eyes and think of something other than the explosive hedgehog, but I just can't seem to shake thsi feeling of warmth and excitement. The smile also doesn't budge from my face. 'So many amazing, new feelings. Maybe luck is on my side.' I listen to the ticking of the clock as I peacfully drift off. 'What a beautiful feeling he brings.'
