*Todoroki's POV*

'Why did I do that?! I probably hurt her feelings. Idiot! She's right though, I can't keep avoiding everyone.' I frustratedly think as I enter the classroom.

"Todoroki! Are you okay!" Yaoyorozu asks as I enter. I nod my head and sit down at my desk. "Where's Rei?" She adds.

As if one cue, Rei opens the door to our classroom and steps in. I can't help but notice the heartbreaking expression on her face.

"Rei, what happened?" Ochako asks her.

"I don't know..." she mutters as she sits down. I feel her stare on me, but I look at my desk as if it's the most interesting thing in the world.

'I have to stop letting my emotions control my decisions.' I think. 'I'll apologize later.'

*Rei's POV*
The dismissal bell rings, signalling the end of the school day. As I leave the building, thinking about Shoto, the very boy stops me.

"Can we talk for a moment?" He says.

I nod. "Of course." I'm really happy he's going to open up and stop avoiding me.

We wait until everyone left before he speaks up. "Rei, you like Bakugou." He says.

I feel my face flare up. "Yes, I-I do." I reply. "What is this about?"

"Rei, I like you too." He says. I feel like all words just disappeared from my mind. I'm speechless. "But you like Bakugou."

"I-I'm sor-"

"No, stop." He cuts me off. "It's fine. I'm sure I'll get over it." I bite my lip. 'I feel so bad!' He smiles at me softly, but sadly. I feel my chest tighten. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Y-Yeah..." I say and smile back at him. "And don't worry. I'm sure there's someone out there for you. The timing just isn't right, right now." I reassuringly state.

"No wonder I had a crush on you." He mutters. "Bye, Rei." He waves and leaves. I wave back and make my way towards Katsuki who's been waiting by the exit.

"What did Icy-hot say?" He asks.

"Nothing, don't worry about it." I say.

He growls. "You suck."

I roll my eyes. "Wow! What a creative comeback!" As we make our way to the road, I see Aizawa leaning over the side of his car as he waits.

I almost forgot I wasn't going to the train station. "Oh, sorry I kept you waiting." I say before walking towards the car.

"Were you going to walk with Bakugou?" Aizawa asks while narrowing his eyes.

I nod and reply, "I forgot I wasn't heading to the train station anymore." I open the passenger door and wave bye to Bakugou. "Bye, Katsuki!"

"Bye, magnet-face." He responds as Aizawa gets in and drives off.

As we drive towards our house, Aizawa asks, "Are you and Bakugou dating?"

My eyes widen I feel my cheeks heat up. "W-What?! No!" I exclaim embarrassedly. "How can you say that so casually?!"

I crash on my bed after changing into leggings and a sweatshirt (Ochako bought the outfit for me when I was in the hospital). Right now, it's the only clothes I have that's not uniform or underwear. My phone buzzes and my brows furrow. 'A notification? From what?' I pick my phone up and see I've been added to a groupchat.
