As I near the huge school, I open my mouth in slight awe. It was way bigger than I expected. It felt mighty and kind of intimidating, but I shake my head and scold myself. 'Focus, you aren't dilly-dallying around here!" I examine the structure of the building and the entrance. It was very hard to see because of all of the other people here for the entrance exam, so I tried to focus on where I was going. To be honest, I'm just following where the crowd goes. I have no idea where I'm supposed to be.
As I look around, I see a familiar face. My heart stopped. 'No, I'm hallucinating.' I think. I squeeze my eyes shut and open them again. He was gone. I breathe out a sigh of relief. For some reason, I could've sworn I saw my childhood best friend, but he was gone as soon as I saw him. This used to happen to me when I missed him and my dad forced me to forget him, but his face only kept reappearing. The hallucinations stopped after father took me in, but I swear it just happened to me.
"Hey, uh are you okay?" I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn to face a boy with yellow hair and a black streak.
"Yeah, sorry." I blink. 'This is bad. Step one: don't make friends. They'll get in the way.'
"I'm Denki Kaminari." He smiles at me and outstretches his hand.
"I'm Rei Tamiko." I reply, fake-smiling. 'Just end the conversation.' I tell myself. "So, are you here for the entrance exams? I mean, obviously." I nervously laugh at my own silliness. 'Failed step one.'
"Yeah, hey we should get going or else they're going to start without us." He says.
I nod. "Yeah." We both walk towards a large door. It leads to an auditorium as I find my seat.
I sat down two seats away from a messy, green-haired boy who resembled a stalk of broccoli. I examined the room so that I could have a mental map of this place. A boy comes and sits down next to me. My breath hitches in my throat as I stare at the ash-blonde. His hair reminded me of a certain someone.
"I just had to be sitting next to you, damn Deku!" He snarls.
Last time I checked, Katsu-chan was not that aggressive- though the last time was ten years ago...
"What the fuck are you staring at, dumbass?" He barks at me.
I shake my head. "Excuse me? I don't even know you!" 'There was no way this guy was Katsu-chan.'
"Why the fuck were you staring, then?" He snaps as he sits down.
"You just looked like somebody." I mutter.
"Tch, idiots all around me!" He grumbles.
"Can you just keep your big mouth shut for once?" I didn't realize I had said that out loud .
"Do you want to fucking fight?!" He exclaims.
"I'll beat your ass anytime, anywhere." I reply calmly.
"I'd like to see you try!" He snarls.
"Ka-"
"Shut it, Deku!" The kid who resembled Katsu-chan snaps at the broccoli boy.
'Where have I heard that before?' I think. "So rude to everyone." I huff.
"So what?!" He growls. He attempts to get up, but I graze my fingers over his thighs and then touch his seat. His thighs faintly glows blue while the seat glows red.
