"Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!" I chant and jolt up.

"Are you okay, Rei?!" Katsuki worridly asks. "I-I mean, you better be okay, magnet-face!" He blushes.

I sigh as I calm down form my dream. "You're such a tsundere."

"What?! No, I don't like you! I'm just- I was just......" He trials off and mutters under his breath.

I blush. "Of course not! I wasn't insinuating that you like me! I mean, who would like me?" I nervously laugh and cough. A moment of silence passes and I take a look around me. "Why am I in the hospital?"

"We all woke up from that smelly bastard, but you weren't breathing. Ponytail, roundface, and I took you to the emergency room, but that smelly bastard got away." He explains. "The whole school staff and police force are working on tracking that bastard and the league of villains."

"Oh." I mutter. "Did Aizawa wake up?"

"No, he's still asleep somewhere in this hospital. Granny couldn't heal him." Katsuki replies. "You've both been asleep for five days. Thank God, you woke up! Midnight is teaching our class right now so grape-head and dunce-face are a mess and we got this annoying new transfer student." Katsuki grumbles. "She's so annoying and she sticks to me like glue!"

I frown. "What's she like? Is she pretty?" I ask.

Katsuki confusedly stares at me after hearing my question. I won't lie, I'm a little jealous that a girl is clinging to him like that.

"Yeah, she's fucking stunning and it's getting to her head...." He mumbled more under his breath, but I coudn't quite hear what he said. It sounded like something along the lines of, "something compounded to you"

I frown. 'Katsuki thinks she's stunning....' I sink a bit in the hospital bed. 'He's never said anything like that to me...'

"Hello?" A knock on the door sounds and it opens to reveal a nurse. "Oh! You're awake! Please step out while the doctors and I examine her." She says to Katsuki.

He frowns. "It's fine. I guess I'll see you soon." I say and he nods, getting up before begrudgingly leaving the room.

It's been five days since I've been released from the hospital. The whole school has a heavy air around it. Midnight is a decent teacher, but I prefer Aizawa. He's still asleep, though and I'm starting to feel alone in the house. The police occasionally walk around the halls and have meetings with staff, leaving the students in the cafeteria to study- though, I'm pretty sure nobody in that room even got through one page of a book with all the noise and chatter.
I want to meet the new transfer student, but the girls (who got her number on the first day) told me she's been sick. I hope she's here today.

I walk into school and the two police officers stop me.
"Can I have your student ID, miss?" The one on the right asks.
I hand them my student ID. They nod and let me through. The security has been tightened and I have to show my ID to even get inside my classroom, now.

I sit down at my desk and stare out the window after greeting my friends. I watch the sidewalk intently for any signs of Katsuki. He hasn't arrived at school yet and- I don't know why, but I'm really anticipating his arrival.
"Oh, are you better now, Kaniko?" I hear Yaomomo say.

I turn my head to face a familiar girl standing in the doorway. "Yup!" Her piercing blue eyes close as she smiles.

"Where's Ashido?" Her sickeningly sweet voice is too high pitched compared to when I last saw her.

"She just left. I think she went to the bathroom." Yaomomo replies.

The girl's gaze meets mine and her smile falters for a split-second. "Oh, is this the girl who was in the hospital? She seems familiar...." she mumbles as she walks over to me. "Ah!" She exclaims with a clearly fake tone. "You're the UA Traitor!" I glare at her.

Yaomomo nervously clears her throat. "I think we'd all appreciate it if you didn't call Rei that."

"Oh, my apologies." The girl says. "Anyways, I'm Kaniko Jotsumi (Kan-E-ko Jo-su-mi)." She reaches her hands out toward me.

"I'm Rei Tamiko." I reply and reluctantly take her hand. My eyes widen when I feel her sharp nails digging into my hand. I put on a smiling face and slightly squeeze her hand (if I squeezed any harder, I would break it). She continues to smile despite the pain she should be feeling and finally lets go of my hand.
"I think I'll go check on Mina; she's been in the washroom for quite a while." I say.

"Okay." Yaomomo replies.

"I'll join you." Kaniko states with a smile.

I glare at her before smiling again. "Sure." I grit my teeth and walk out of the classroom.

As soon as we get into the hallway, Kaniko snickers. "That was quite a grip."
I ignore her and continue walking to the washroom.

"I honestly don't know why you're still here. You're always caught up in the center of some mess. Why don't they just kick you out?" She sneers. "That bubblegum girl has been avoiding me this whole time. It's almost like she has something against me! I mean, what did I do except give her some tips to wear some concealer for her bags."

I scoff under my breath, but don't pay any mind to her. I push open the washroom door and see Mina standing in front of a sink.
"Hey, Mina." I say.

"Rei! You're out of the hospital! Have you met the new transfer student yet?! It's that girl from the Sports Festival!" Mina exclaims.

"She knows." Kaniko states from behind me, the washroom door shutting behind her.
Mina glares at her and so do I.
"You two are honestly so annoying! Mina, we could've been great friends, but you just had to stick up for the traitor! There's something wrong with all of you. Why and how can you all be so trusting of magnet-girl?! Oh wait, you're not magnet-girl anymore, you're quirkless." Kaniko giggles a bit.

"Rei's changed and she really saved our lives back at USJ." Mina shoots back.

Kaniko scoffs. "Traitors never change."

"No, everyone can change." I say. "And everyone deserves a second shot to change. I'm not saying that because I'm a traitor," The next words just tumble out of my mouth with an unfamiliar confidence, "but because I'm a hero."
