Ch. 18: The Event

We both get out of the car and enter the mansion. We are Gabriel Agreste at the top of the stairs. I stiffen and remember finding out he's Hawkmoth.

"Lady Luck. Nice of you to join us." He says

"You're welcome..." I squeak out.

"There is no need to be scared of me." He says

" I'm not... Anyway I've already told Adrien who I really am. Can I trust you? " I ask

"Yes..." He says

" but you can't tell anyone... " I say

"Ok." Her says

"My real name is... Marinette Dupain-Cheng." I say proudly

" well this is a surprise Ms. Dupain-Cheng. " he says

"Um... Gabriel Agreste... May I have a word with you... Alone..." I say seriously

" Yes... Into my office. Natalie keep Adrien away from my office. " he says

We enter the office and I say

"I know you're Hawkmoth..." I say

"No I'm not..." He says nervously

" Really... You're acting pretty nervous right now... And I know for a fact that you never act nervous. Around anyone... Hawkmoth... " I say

"I am... Just don't tell Adrien. Natalie..." Her starts

" Natalie already knows and she's also Mayura... It's not that difficult to find out. " I say

"How did you find out?" He asks

" Well... You didn't choose the best hiding spot on the Eiffel Tower on Heroes Day. Besides I had my suspicions that he was you... After all I fight your akumas everyday. " I say

"You're one of the heroes!?"

" why are you acting so surprised? I am the most experienced in fighting after all. " I say

"You're Ladybug..." He says

" Yep... If you ever try to take my earrings you'll regret it. If you tell anyone you'll regret it... You're lucky I'm not putting you in prison. Adrien deserves a father... He doesn't deserve to loose both his parents. The closest thing to a mother that Adrien has is Natalie... I'm not going to put you both in prison... Just so you know... For that wish... There's a consequence... If you wish for you're wife back... Adrien will die... Threes no way around it. Unless you give up your miraculous and man up and get over it. People grieve sure. But they don't go turning people evil and hurting innocent lives just to make a stupid wish. Whe n people grieve... They get over it... After all they will always have the memories... If you surrender I'll keep you out of jail... Or you can continue and have Adrien suffer... I don't think either of us want that... Now what's this event I'm attending? " I say

"Its actually just a huge photo shoot." He says

"Really... I would've gone if it was just called a photo shoot. But ok." I say

After 3 hours of photo shoots.

I change into my clothes I wore when I got here. I say bye to Natalie and Adrien. I'm at the door and I say...

"Gabriel I suggest you keep in mind of what I've told you today in my your office... Just so you know... You can't hide anything from me..." I say.

I go out the door and get in my limo and drive home. I go to my room and do my homework. I then eat dinner and go to bed.
