chapter 7

The car chandni & Aasmi was in reach to the same building she was yesterday.

Of course he must be here! This is his main office in the town!! She thought before climbing out of the car with Aasmi in her hand.

As usual she did received some weird stares because of her outfit!

They call her old fashioned but she doesn't care.

She saw how the girls in the office dressed!!

Of course it's one of the bestest company in UK. They should dress like this!

When chandni went near to advay's cabin his secretary informed her he's in a meeting and lead her to a room right beside advay's conference room.

She saw a large bed, a TV , a crib , a small table with a couple of chairs and a lot of toys in the room.

Chandni closed the door behind her and let aasmi play with her toys. That's when she got the call of niyathi, they talked about an hour or so before hang up.

Chandni saw the wall clock, it's ticking five past eleven .

She took Aasmi in her arms then feed her some milk. Suddenly she remind something and went to advay's Secrtery.

Advay was busy with the meeting since he arrived to office. He was about to finish the meeting since he needed a break that's when he heard a knock on the door.

Don't they know, I don't like it when someone disturbs in the middle of the meeting!!

He was about to bark at the person who's entering, stopped when his eyes landed at the small figure peeking into the room,

" Ohh your meeting is still on. I'll come back "

Why she's here, is it about aasmi??

" no that's fine Ms chandni. We were just finishing up .come in. Gentlemen I will meet you all tomorrow. We will talk about the legal papers tomorrow. Thank you " he said to the men in the conference room.

' we were actually finishing up ' murli winked at advay before walking out.

' yes Ms chandni. What you want to talk about? What's in your hand?? " advay asked walked over to her .

" I'm sorry for Barging like that.  ' chandni looked at her wrist watch,

' oh no I only have five minutes. Take this sir " chandni hand him a tray.

" what is this "

" you left before eight in the morning . I heard from your secretary that you are in the meeting since you reached, so I thought to bring something for you to eat. " advay was touched by her gesture. It's been years since someone taking care of him.

Advay saw the tray it had a big juicy burger and a cup of black coffee.

' I'm sorry . it's not the best . But your intern accept to watch aasmi only 15 minutes. I'm sorry for letting someone looking for me. But.... Well I have to go. Bye sir. And don't worry sir, she just had her milk, she's playing with her toys and the cartoon is on. " when she reach to the door frame advay called her from behind,

" Ms chandni. Thank you "

" pleasure is all mine, sir "

" didn't I ask you to stop calling me ' sir '

" chandni chukled, " you did. But you are at your office. I can't call you by your first name in front of your employees ."

No that's fine. You can call me as you please . He wanted to say instead he said , " okay , thank you for this. I needed this "

" you are welcome sir. And forgive me if the coffee is not up to your expectations. Bye sir " with that she left the room running.

Advay uncover the burger from its wrap and take a bite.

He needed this!! His stomach was practically begging for some food.

Why no one ever thought about it??!!!

' she seems a perfect choice. ' he heard his best friend's voice.

" Hmmm " advay hummed taking the bite of the burger.

" I just heard her signing lullaby for Aasmi. " murli informed, advay nodded and take a sip of his black coffee.

He wanted to moan, how it tasted.

This was the best coffee he tasted!!

After he finished the burger he went back to the work.

' hey! ' murli said walking to the room where chandni and Aasmi is . Aasmi was sleeping while chandni was sitting beside her.

' hey ' she returned smile at him.

' how is your day? Do you like to work under my friend "

" I'm sure I work for him but not under him. I'm just a nanny to take care of his daughter "

Only if you could see the way he's looking at you!! Murli thought.

' did you say something "

" no, nothing.  I was asking how's Aasmi. You know she's not a social person like her dad. She doesn't like to be in the hand of a stranger. "

' is it!! She looked comfortable with me though. "

" that's why I was surprised . What magic you spell on them " he asked them instead of her, but chandni seem didn't mind it,

She smiled and answered " my magic is love. No one can escape from my spell "

Murli chuckled " hmm interesting . Anyway I gotta go. Bye "

' bye " murli gave a small wave then left.

Advay groaned looking at the laptop screen . Meeting after meeting, a company document to check up.

What a hectic day! He groaned before going for an other meeting.

He's thankful for chandni for taking care of Aasmi. If she's not there, he would have been attending the meetings with his daughter.

It was six in the evening when the last meeting ended. He mentally thanked god and asked gaurds to bring chandni and Aasmi to the car.

He want to sleep!! Period!!

' good evening advay ' chandni said .

" good evening "

" good evening princesa.  Did you miss paa today " he started talking to his daughter . Chandni simply sitting beside them and enjoying the conversation of father and daughter.

They were struck in the traffic because of heavy rain so it took one hour to reach AR mansion instead of twenty minutes .

Chandni slept in the middle of the ride advay saw her sleeping. Her head was about hit on the door of the car so pulled her beside him and wrapped his arm around her . Because of the traffic and tiredness advay also feel asleep,  Aasmi was already sleeping on her dad's lap.

When advay and none left the car even  five minutes after they reaches to AR mansion. One of a gaurds to went to check on them, the scene he saw made him speechless.

Chandni laying her head on advay's chest, one of her arm wrapped around Aasmi and advay. While advay's arm was wrapped around her & Aasmi was sleeping on advay. They looked like a perfect family!!!
