Nervously, Robert sat down on the passengers seat of Tom's car, turning around as if he was haunted.
"Are you okay?", Tom asked anxiously, Robert staring at me.
"Can you see me?", I wanted to know curiously, making myself comfortable on the backseat.
"I guess I'm insane", Robert mumbled still apathetically.
"What happened in there?", Tom interrogated him.
Robert turned around, now watching out of the window.
"That means no", I assumed quietly.
For a moment, I really thought he would have seen me. It seemed as if he recognized I was there, watching over him.
"I don't know", Robert answered in confusion, "I thought she was there."
"Who?"
Robert swallowed hard.
"Kate", he continued then, "I thought she was in there, maybe protecting me..."
Immediately, I had to smile. He sensed me. He really sensed me.
"I'm still here, Robbie", I whispered, my voice was weak.
"I need help, Tom. You were right", he added, "I can't take this anymore."
Tom half smiled at him.
"I'll help you, Rob. We'll fix that..."
"You're not insane, Robert!", I interrupted them, "I am here! I am protecting you!"
My eyes filled with tears. Finally, he was able to sense me again. And now he was fighting against it.
Suddenly, we stopped. I exited the car and looked around.
Dr. Elizabeth Shaw.
Her name was written on a little sign outside the building we were parking.
Robert looked at Tom.
"Do you expect me to go there with you?", he asked jokingly.
"Of course not!", Robert countered seriously and exited his car.
Immediately, I reached out for his hand.
"I'll go with you", I added, regarding him closely before he entered the building.
Slowly, he walked upstairs, still unsure if this was the right choice, the right step to do.
"It's okay, Robbie", I tried to calm him down, "Everything will be fine again..."
He took a deep breath before entering the practice.

Nervously, Robert looked around in the little room. He sat on the black comfortable leather couch, a huge window with a beautiful sight of the city behind him. The other walls were all white, just one of them was covered under a green bamboo wallpaper. There was a small table in the middle of the room, another comfortable recliner across from Robert.
Suddenly, the door opened and a young woman dressed in a black skirt and a white blouse entered the room. She had long black curls and big dark brown eyes. I had to admit she was really beautiful.
"I'm sorry for the delay", she apologized politely, offering Robert her hand, "I hope you didn't have to wait too long..."
Robert carefully shook her hand without even looking at her.
She sat down on the recliner, crossing her legs, regarding him closely.
"My name's Elizabeth Shaw", she introduced herself and smiled at him, "But you can call me Liz."
