Chapter 19: Blast off to Namek

*In Narrator's Voice*
Previously on Dragon Ball Z! After the defeat of Vegeta, our friends reunite with Goku once more. Despite a few losses, the Earth was saved once again. However, Krillin told everyone about Piccolo's true heritage that he was a Namekian from Planet Namek. Interested, Goku proposed the idea to go to use their Dragon Balls to revive Chioatzu and the others killed back to life a year earlier. Now, our heroes plot their trip to Namek on what to bring and most importantly, who will come along. Find out in today's episode!

A few days have passed where everyone who participated in the battle is at the hospital and recovering.

Everyone else was lying in bed with bandages and casts wrapped around in some places of their bodies while Goku has a full body cast on.

To pass the time, Krillin asks, "So Goku, is it really true you let the Saiyan go?" Goku chuckles awkwardly and replies, "Yeah, sorry about that. I just saw no point in killing him so I let him go." Tien replies, "I'm for one glad that the bald Saiyan got what he had coming to him after what he did to Chiaotzu but I wish I got to do it myself." Krillin replies, "At least the worst is behind us now. As for you Goku, you're a nice fellow but maybe you're a bit too nice." Goku chuckles awkwardly until a nurse enters the room and tells them, "Gentlemen, you have visitors!" Master Roshi and the others enter the room and Krillin exclaims, "You guys made it!" Master Roshi asks, "How could we not? After all you've done for us, this is the least we can do." Chi-Chi asks, "So, how are you boys holding up?" Krillin replies, "The doctor said Gohan and I only received a few bumps and scratches and we'll be as good as new in a couple of days but he wants us to stay for observation." Goku responds, "Hey, you got me beat. He told me it would take a month or two for me to recover. He even told me that even if I do recover, I may not be the same." Karrin replies, "I wouldn't worry about that. The next batch of Senzu Beans should be ready in a month or so. You'll be up and about it before you know it." Krillin replies, "Until then, you're stuck looking like a mummy who forgot to wrap his face." Yajirobe replies, "I can't believe those docs wouldn't admit me after the beating I took." Krillin asks, "You mean the beating you got when you were begging the Saiyan not to hurt you?Please, don't hurt me! I was just kidding. Maybe we can be friends!" Embarrassed, Yajirobe replies, "Hey! I was just trying to get his guard down so I can take him down, you idiot!" Everyone laughs at Yajirobe while the Ox-King tells the group, "I'm just so proud of you guys for driving those nasty Saiyans out. Not only did you save the human race but everyone who died in the battle will be brought back to life!" Suddenly, Blue Launch enters the room and tells everyone, "Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing alright. Look, I brought flowers! Where shall I place it?" Chi-Chi replies, "Thank you, they're lovely! Just place it near Gohan." As Launch was about place the flowers near Gohan, she notices Tien and Goku and asks, "And how are my big strong men doing?" Tien replies, "We're doing fine, thanks for asking." Launch replies, "That's good to hear but are you gonna be able to train with just one hand?" Tien replies, "I may be missing a hand but I think this presents the opportunity to challenge myself in ways I never could before." Launch replies, "Well, that's good to hear. How about you, Goku?" Goku responds, "I'm fine for the most part but the doctor said I had a month or two before I can fully recover. Still, if it wasn't for my brother giving up his own life for me to have one last Senzu Bean, my injuries could've been a lot worse." Launch can't help but feel sad upon hearing about Raditz and Goku asks, "Is something the matter, Launch?" Launch snaps out of it and replies, "Oh, it's nothing really, silly me. Still, your brother was so brave to do that for you." Goku replies, "Yeah, which is why I can't wait to see him again." Launch then responds, "You and me both. Anyway, I'll just leave these here and be on my way." Launch places the flowers near Gohan's bed but not before giving them a good sniff. However, she is allergic which causes her to sneeze into her blonde form. Blonde Launch yells out, "Ugh, I hate flowers!" She then throws the flowers out the window and asks Gohan, "Hey there, Little Man, how ya doin'?" She pats Gohan's head who replies, "I'm fine. Thanks for asking, Ms. Launch!" Launch then asks, "And how ya doin', Baldy?" Krillin replies, "I'm fine. Thanks for asking." Launch turns around to see Tien where they stare at each other awkwardly. Launch asks awkwardly, "So... uh, how ya doin'?" Tien replies, "I-I'm fine. Thanks for asking." The room goes silent as Yajirobe comments, "Awkward."
