Dragon Ball Z - Raditz: Born Again

Chapter 137: Enter Super Gotenks

*In Narrator's Voice*
Previously on Dragon Ball Z! After Goten and Trunks fused to become Gotenks, they set out to kill Majin Buu and to bring his head on a platter for everyone to see. However, that plan quickly went downhill after Gotenks challenged Buu to a fight. Gotens at first had the upper hand until Buu overpowered and barely left him alive. While this was happening, Mr. Satan set out to stop Majin Buu once and for all. He tried all sorts of gizmos but everything failed and has resort himself to being a slave so he can find a weakness, today!

Back at the Sacred Land of the Kais, Elder Kai continues his ritual on Gohan who is just borer out of his mind all while Goku continues to sleep. Elder Kai continues his dance until he suddenly stops and sits down for a second. He breathes heavily as Goku begins to wake up. He yawns and then asks, "What's going on?" Supreme Kai replies, "They're done." Goku replies, "About time they were because I was really getting bored here." Goku then walks over to his son and asks, "Gohan, how are you feeling? Do you feel any stronger?" Gohan replies, "Not really, no." Elder Kai replies, "Well, that's because we've only touched the tip of the iceberg. We still have another 20 hours before this ritual is over." Gohan groans out of frustration but quickly shakes it off. Elder Kai tells Gohan, "Now, it's time for phase 2 and it's actually easier than phase 1. Well, you still have to meditate and such without moving your muscles but you can at least do it while sitting down this time around." Gohan replies, "Not to be rude or anything but that sounds worse than standing up." Elder Kai replies, "Oh, hush up, boy and stop complaining. I already promised that I would unlock powers that were thought possible before and all you have to do is sit down. A small price to pay, don't you think?" Gohan replies, "Alright, I'm ready." Gohan then concentrates as Elder Kai raises his arms and thus begins phase 2. Back at the lookout, Dende is healing the boys back to full strength. After that, they both get spankings from Raditz himself. Goten yells out, "Stop it! Please!" Raditz replies, "I'm sorry, kiddo, but this is the only way you'll learn." Launch replies, "Just make sure you do it to me after you're done, okay?" Raditz blushes and replies, "Not in front of the kids, woman!" Launch replies a bit frustrated, "Fine, whatever, your loss." Raditz then lets go of Goten and begins to spank Trunks. Goten sobs as he tries to soothe his butt. He then runs over to his mother and tells her, "I don't want to do this anymore, not when everyone's so mean." Chi-Chi replies, "I'm sorry but this is the only way you're gonna learn. I don't want to lose you either, Goten." Chi-Chi then hugs her son.

Raditz eventually stops spanking Trunks as he sobs as well. Bulma approaches her son and tells him, "There, there, Trunks, it's over now. Does it hurt that much?" However, Trunks' reply was different than what anyone was expecting as he says, "No, Mom, I'm not crying because it hurts but because it made me look like a complete wuss in front of... Well, you know who." Bulma chuckles a bit and replies, "Oh yeah, I'm sure she'll forget about this sooner or later." Ranch then thinks to herself, Ms. Bulma, you're absolutely wrong. Piccolo then tells the boys, "I hope you've learned your lessons now, boys. This is something that can't be taken lightly. Did you even fight Majin Buu in Super Saiyan?" The boys shake their heads and Piccolo replies, "So I thought. Well then, we're gonna now practice fusing while in Super Saiyan." Trunks ask, "Well, before we can do that, can you answer something? Do you think I can become stronger than my dad? I want to protect the Earth and I want to follow in his footsteps and if I want to do that then I have to get even stronger than he is and everyone else." Bulma replies, "That's my boy!" Ranch replies, "Whoa, Trunks, I had no idea that you felt like that." Trunks then looks back at Ranch and then gives her a smirk which she finds kinda cute. Trunks then thinks to himself, Hopefully, she has forgotten that spanking from earlier. Piccolo then approaches the boys and pets them on the head and tells them, "You both carry greatness inside you." Raditz adds on, "You have the blood of perfect warriors running down your course and, in due time, you'll become even stronger than us." Piccolo lets go of their heads and replies, "Alrighty then, back to training." Back at the Sacred Land of the Kais, Goku is enjoying a small lunch while Elder Kai is busy working on his son. As he eats, Goku asks, "Hey, Supreme Kai, do you think that this Elder Kai's ritual thing is really going to give my son the power he needs to defeat Majin Buu?" Supreme Kai replies, "Well, it is quite difficult to say but I think that we can trust him. After all, he is a Supreme Kai and we are capable of a lot of amazing stuff. Although, his powers are a bit unusual even for Supreme Kai standards." Goku replies, "Well, we'll see." Meanwhile, Gohan is meditating while Elder Kai has his arms raised to him. Gohan then opens his eyes and notice that Elder Kai is sleeping on the job. Gohan asks, "Hey, are you sleeping, Elder Kai?" However, Elder Kai doesn't respond and Gohan decides to raise his voice. "Hey, Elder Kai, wake up!" This startles Elder Kai who asks, "What happened?" Gohan replies, "You've fallen asleep." Elder Kai replies, "I've done no such thing. I was simply resting my eyes and something like that."
