*In Narrator's Voice* Previously on Dragon Ball Z! After transforming into the Legendary Super Saiyan, Goku overwhelmed Frieza to the point where he destroyed Planet Namek's core. Now, Goku only has five minutes to wrap things up and Frieza knows this too which is why he powered up to one-hundred percent full power. While this was going on, the rest of the group made it back to the ship while Raditz and Piccolo went off to find the Grand Elder. They found him and went on to gather the Namekian Dragon Balls where they're gonna be put to use, today!
Frieza had finished powering up to one-hundred percent full power and tells Goku, "There we are. You wanted me at my strongest so here I am." Goku asks, "Do you want to finish this, or are you just going to keep talking?" Suddenly, Frieza vanishes but reappears in front of Goku and punches him in the stomach. Goku spits out blood but Frieza grabs him by the head and knees him in the face. This sends the Saiyan flying but Frieza flies over to him and elbows him in the face and proceeds to bombard him with multiple attacks. Frieza then grabs Goku by the armpits, lifts him, and throws him inside the crater. However, Goku catches himself and lands on the wall of the crater but Frieza was on top of him and kicks him into the wall. Goku manages to get Frieza off of him and follows the tyrant into the sky where he stops Goku in his tracks and continues to bombard him with multiple attacks. Goku powers up which makes Frieza stop and flies the other way. However, Frieza flies at top speed and catches up to Goku but he boosts to get farther away from the action. Suddenly, Goku is blocked by a cloud of smoke and turns around but Frieza punches him in the face while yelling out, "Too slow!" Goku falls but he catches himself right before he hits the ground and flies off. Frieza follows from behind and catches up to Goku who stops to try and attack him but Frieza vanishes and Goku looks around the area for any sign of him. Suddenly, Frieza elbows Goku in the back of the head and asks, "Missed me?" Goku lands on the ground but Frieza kicks him in the face into the dirt. As Goku gets up, Frieza once again bombards him with multiple attacks but Goku grabs both his arms and tries to hold him off.

Frieza grinds his teeth and tries to push Goku back who yells out, "Give it up, Frieza!" They both grind their teeth as they try to push each other back until an aura surrounds them which causes electricity to flow everywhere.
