Dragon Ball Z - Raditz: Born Again

Chapter 32: Goku & Piccolo Arrive at Last

*In Narrator's Voice*
Previously on Dragon Ball Z! After defeating Guldo, Recoome of the Ginyu Force stepped up to fight Vegeta. However, it was a one-sided fight as Recoome utterly dominated Vegeta. Then, Gohan and Krillin step up to save him but this only served to fuel Recoome's rage and started coming after them. He first took down Krillin, leaving Gohan to fend off the brute by himself. Try as he might, he was no match for Recoome's wrath and had his neck broken. As everything seems hopeless, in a miraculous twist of events, Goku and Piccolo have arrived on Planet Namek at long last where they'll dish out some sweet revenge on the Ginyu Force, today!

As the ship lands, the computer announces, "Landing sequence complete. Welcome to Planet Namek. You can now disembark. Opening outer hatch." The outer hatch opens revealing Goku and Piccolo who have finally arrived on Planet Namek almost after a week from when they departed Earth. They step outside with serious expressions on their faces as Piccolo comments, "It's Planet Namek, my homeworld. So strange and yet so familiar. I feel it, the soil of my ancestors singing to my blood. Still, there's no time to get lost in nostalgia. We've got to find Gohan and the others." Goku replies, "Yeah. Just be alive everyone." They then ascend to the air to scout the area for any signs of their friends. Goku senses Frieza's energy and tells Piccolo, "There's something over there." Piccolo replies as he senses Ginyu's energy, "And another there." Goku replies, "Wow, when they there were some insanely strong guys here, they weren't kidding." Then they felt Gohan and Krillin's depleting power and Goku comments, "Ah! Gohan and Krillin, they're hurt! They're both just barely hanging on." Piccolo replies, "And in the same place near those three other huge powers I'm sensing." Goku replies, "It's okay, guys, we'll be right there." Piccolo replies, "It's finally time for us put that training under 100x gravity to the test." Goku nods his head and goes Kaioken while Piccolo charges up an incredible amount of ki and begin to fly in the direction of the group. While this was happening, Gohan and Krillin are under the mercy of Recoome who walks over to Gohan and tells him, "You guys are the definition of underwhelming! Oh, well, I guess I'll just start with you, Kid!" Krillin mutters whatever strength he has left and yells out, "D-Don't... Don't do it! Please! He's just a kid!" However, Recoome ignores him and tells Gohan, "Nice knowing ya, Kid! There'll always be a soft spot in the bottom of my boot for ya!" He then raises his leg and is about to stomp on Gohan's seemingly lifeless body until, suddenly, something fast flies past Recoome, causing him to spin uncontrollably.

This catches everyone by surprise, except for Vegeta who mutters to himself, "K-Kakarot... You bastard... So... You finally decided to show up..." Recoome stops spinning, catches his balance, and turns around to see Piccolo and Goku with his son who tells him, "Gohan... Here, Son, I brought you a Senzu Bean, eat it. Gohan? Hey, Gohan?" Piccolo replies, "It's no good, the poor boy's neck is broken. He probably can't hear you. Don't worry, he's alive, barely."
