"Hi." Nakayuko at nahihiyang bati ni Serena pagdating namin ni Eidan.

I didn't say a word, I just looked at her face. I was also biting the insides of my cheek to stop myself from shaming her in my head. That won't be necessary, Venice. You're trying to be good for your friends, right? This is for your friends and after this, no more favors.

Well, obviously because you probably won't have friends by then.

Eidan gestured me to a seat beside him when he finally noticed the awkward silence between us. Xyl didn't, or maybe he's pretending not to because it's easier that way.

Man, if I could turn back time, I would have had just pretended that I was fine with all that's happening.

"Wanna grab snacks with me, Ven?"

Umangat ang tingin ko kay Xyl sa biglaang sinabi. Hesitant, I nodded and looked at Serena. She looks fine that I was the one invited. Ako lang ba talaga ang apektado rito? Pero hindi, diba? Venice, keep in mind that you saw her conversing with Wren! Huwag kang nagpapadala sa mukha niyang pa-inosente!

"Sure, why not?" I smiled.

Tumayo na kaming dalawa. Hindi ko na nga naisip na maiiwan si Eidan at Serena dahil sa biglaang galak sa pag-imbita sa akin imbes na ang isda.

Pipila sana si Xyl ngunit nang mapalapit na kami sa dami ng tao ay halos humawi iyon para makadaan ako. Xyl's eyes twinkled.

"God, thank you for bringing Ven back." He whispered, breathless while looking up and both hands are clasped against each other as if praying.

Dumaan na kami sa sa nakaparteng daanan at agad umorder. I'm sure it's not all because of me. Xyl's good looking and I'm sure he had nailed some of the girls here already. I wonder if he endeavours to screw all of them?

"I miss you, Ven." He said seriously.

Natigil ako mula sa pagbalik sa kinauupuan. Bumaling ang tingin ko sakanya na seryoso nang nakatingin. This time, he doesn't look clueless. He looked as if he really mean it.

Unti-unti akong ngumiti, not sure if I should be happy or sad that because of just one girl, everything was ruined.

The hardest part is realizing that the girl who started it all wasn't Serena. It was me. My overreaction, my possessiveness and of course my untimely jealousy.

Pagkatapos noon ay bumalik na kami. We saw Eidan and Serena staring at each other like it's a competition. We decided to break the tension when I dropped my tray on the table, loud for both of them to hear.

We distracted them. Pagkatapos noon ay tumahimik na ulit kami at tanging ang mga tao lang sa kabilang parte ng canteen ang nag-iingay. It was awkward until Matt came and sitted beside me.

"Sorry, I can't make him come with us." Matt said, referring to Jatmel.

Umiwas ako nang tingin nang umangat ang tingin ni Serena at dumiretso sa akin. She didn't say a word but she may have thought that it's because of me. Her four guys isn't complete because I was there.

"That's okay, bro. Do you want chips?" Xyl offered.

Kumuha naman roon si Matt at tumahimik na ulit. I looked at Eidan who's looking at me then to his guy friends then to me again. It's like we mastered telepathy when I smiled at him, telling him that I'm fine and he answered with a nod.

Nang matapos iyon ay agad na akong tumayo para umalis. Eidan and Matt tried to slow me down by caging both of my arms. I groaned.

"I miss going to the resort, Ven. Let's hangout." Xyl offered.
