"Hello?" Sabi ko agad nang makitang sinagot na ng kabilang linya ang tawag.

I heard his hard breathing but decided to brush the thoughts away. Naaalala ko kung paano dumampi ang hininga niya sa aking balikat. It's not a good memory! It's a memory of him, a poor man, towering over me and taking my senses away.

"Hello..."

Pumikit ako nang mariin at agad na umupo mula sa pagkakahiga nang marinig ang malalim niyang boses. I immediately got away from my bed which was absurd since I love calling people while I'm laying on it.

"Uhm... I'm calling to remind you about tomorrow. I'll send you the details."

Kinagat ko ang labi ko nang marinig ang pag-aalangan at ang bahagyang pagkawala ng memorya nang marinig ang boses niya. Mabilis ang mga kamay kong gumalaw upang buksan ang pintuan palabas ng kwarto at pumunta sa garden. The splashing water of the pond soothed me.

"Alright."

"Okay..." I said.

Naghintay pa ako ng ilang minuto. All that I heard was his heavy breathing while waiting. Finally, I dropped the call and texted him Mommy's office address and all but not my Mom's number. Why should she have it, right? I already have his number! He can get the details from me.

"Mommy?" I said as soon as I went to Mom and Dad's combined office in our mansion.

She lifted her gaze up from her laptop and looked at me with questioning eyes. I smiled first so that her mood will light up from her devastating work.

"I just want to ask what time do you want Zeus in your office at the resort?"

She tilted her head. She's probably thinking of a good time to talk to him. My Mom's schedule is hectic. I just don't know how she gives Daddy time. She's a dancer, a business woman and a mother! Dumagdag pa na ako ang anak niya!

"Probably the same time with the one your Tita Shania wanted to hire. Hmm, 6 pm?"

"Oh, Tita Nia wants to hire someone?"

Tumango si Mommy at agad naman akong napa-isip. Is it a girl or a boy? It would be more pleasing if it's a boy. You know. I'm not jealous! I just... I probably just want more guys. More guys, more people who'll drool over me.

I went back to my room, bothered. Tinext ko na rin kay Zeus na 6 pm ay dapat nandoon na siya sa address na ibinigay ko. Hindi naman iyon ganoon kalayo sa carinderia na pinagtatrabahuhan ni Zeus. And if he thinks it's far, I guess my Mom can give him a place to stay in, right?

I knew it. I knew being rich is meant for me!

"Gosh. Stay away from me, guys." Agad kong sabi nang pagpasok sa MDC Entertainment para sa training ay nagtakbuhan ang mga kaibigan ko papunta sa akin.

I rolled my eyes and hugged them back. I really think rolling my eyes is a habit, I just don't know why?

"Namiss ka namin!" Matt said.

Ngumiti ako at ibinalik ang sinabi niya.

"Kailan mo pa ba balak magparamdam? We looked like lost boys without you." Eidan laughed.

I pouted before biting my cheek from the inside. Tumingin ako sa paligid upang humanap ng eksplanasyon nang dumako ang paningin ko sa isang babae malapit sakanila at tila naghihintay. My eyebrows raised.

"I guess someone kept you busy." I said.

Ngumiti ako. I don't know if it's fake or not but I'm surely starting to click my jealousy button. When it comes to my guy friends, no one can really ease me so I'll just have to cool down a little. Cool down, Ven.
