Isang malalim na buntong hininga ang pinakawalan niya bago lumamlam ang kanyang mga mata.

"Are you sure?" He asked, his tone filled with hesitation.

"I want to know everything related to this happening. O kaya naman ang mga bagay na hindi ko lang alam. Zeus, please..." I pleaded.

He sighed. His hand went to my back and slightly caressed it before starting.

"My Dad was charged guilty of sexually harassing your Mom." Panimula niya na agad namang nagpatigil sa paghinga ko. "He was a former assassin that helps the government reduce the growing Mafia clans. But then because of that mistake, the organization stopped him from attending, ripped him off his position which devastated him." Tumigil siya at tinignan ang reaksyon ko.

"Go on..." Mahina kong pagpapatuloy sakanya.

Tumango siya ngunit binabantayan pa rin ang aking mga reaksyon. Nagulat man sa kaalaman ng mga 'assassin' ay agad ko ring naisip na marami nang nangyaring imposible sa buhay ko, ngayon pa ba ako magugulat?

"He didn't know what to do afterwards. He wanted revenge. He went to Inquierdo Clan and gave them intelligence reports about the activities of his former organization in exchange of power. We both know that an Inquierdo is true to his words but you shouldn't trust them." He sighed.

Tila alam niya ang pagkakamali ng kanyang Ama at iniilingan niya iyon. Tumungo naman ako at agad na ipinagdantay ang noo namin habang nagpapatuloy siya.

"When my Father met my Mom, he didn't want the power he had asked for. But he's too late to change his mind. The Inquierdo knew his weak spot and did everything to ruin everything. We weren't poor from the start, my father was also a victim of the Mafia clan."

"Wait." He stopped, "What was his weak spot?"

Umawang ang bibig ko at agad na napapikit. Tumango ako bilang senyas na magpatuloy siya.

Parang nanghina ang buong katawan ko pagkatapos noon. I wanted to focus but then when I heard the word 'love', I got disoriented.

"So the power was passed down to you... and Wren Vale is mad because you'll end up just like your father..." I concluded, still breathless from all the information coming from his mouth, "And the chemical... what is it?"

"Ang alam ko ay galing iyon sa mga kilalang scientist ng bansa. Dapat ay wala talaga ang kemikal na iyon dahil kasama iyon sa pagsabog ng eroplanong sinasakyan ng mga scientist. Ngunit nakahanap ng paraan ang mga Inquierdo at nakahagilap sila ng medisinang katulad noon. But not as advanced. Kaya matagal bago namatay ang nanay ko..."

Every word that's coming out of his mouth feels like torture to him. Niyakap ko siya nang marahan at humilig sakanya.

"I'm sorry... for making you talk even when you're uncomfortable. I'm sorry for... for everything, Zeus." I looked at his eyes to see his reaction, unminding the unshed tears.

Tumingin siya sa akin na tila ba isa akong babasaging kristal na hindi niya kayang bitawan. Like a smooth porcelain who tends to break with just a downfall.
