Disappoint

Claire, holding her binoculars, is trying to spot Serena once we got out of the building. Even though I tried to stop her, the binoculars still came in handy for her. Malabo na kasi ang mata niya, paniguradong dahil laging nakatapat anh mukha niya sa iPad niya sa tuwing nagb-blog siya. I also tried to stop her but I wanted to see the outcome.

"Still no signs of her."

"Baka naka-alis na." I suggested.

Tumingin siya sa akin para maka-irap. I heard her 'hmp' and a slight stomp on the floor. She's acting like a kid. I can't believe her.

"I know her schedule, Aphro. Excuse me but my blog is very reliable." Nilagyan niya ng pilantik ang kaniyang mga kamay na ikina-irap ko naman.

"You're acting like a spoiled kid."

"Whatever, loser."

I shrugged it all off when I finally saw Serena.

"Is the paint ready? Is the paint ready?!" Claire became so excited.

"Relax. This is a stupid plan, Claire. Nothing exciting."

Kinuha ko na ang paint at ang bubble gum naman ni Claire na kanina pa niya nginunguya ay nilagay niya sa isang tissue. She didn't cover it up entirely.

"This is lame." I said.

"I know, but it's fun so we're gonna do it anyways." She laughed.

Kumuha ako ng balloon. I carefully poured the red paint on three of them before I pumped air into it. I signaled the dart boy.

I took the greatest because the dart should be right after the balloon and not the girl. Of course, pinalapit ko siya at ang dart ay pinagawa para lang maputok ang balloon. I don't want to accidentally kill someone.

Kumuha si Claire ng isang balloon at idinikit niya ang bubblegum sa dulo nito. Tinanggal niya na ang tissue at ngumisi siya pagkatapos iyon gawin.

We hurried infront of Serena and she stopped when she saw me. Hindi na siya gumalaw hanggang sa makalapit kami. Nakatingin siya sa dalawang balloons na hawak ko habang si Claire naman ay tinatago ang maliit na balloon sa likod niya. The stupid Serena didn't notice it.

"Hi." I smiled. "I'm sorry about the fries earlier..."

I bit my lip and looked away to add effect. Nang bumaling ako sakanya ay nakakunot ang noo niya.

"Sinadya mo po ba talaga iyon?" She innocently asked.

"I didn't but..."

"Pero ang sinabi mo po sakanila..."

Bahagya na akong naiinis sa ka-epalan niya. Why can't she just go with the flow?

"Look. I didn't intend to do it but I did do it. Even if it's accidental."

She bit her lip and looked down.

"Alam ko pong natamaan ng kamay ko pataas ang siko mo ponang iangat ko ang kamay ko. Bakit hindi po iyon ang sinabi mo?"

"Some people need to give way to stop drama, sweetheart." I smiled fakely.

Why does she have to bring it up and dive into it deeper? Hindi niya kailangang makielam! She's not even part of the group. She was, still is and will forever stay outside our group. We don't have time and space for fishes with an extraordinary hidden agenda that may or may not ruin someone's life.

Her eyes watered again. It made me look at people around us and saw them give sympathetic looks at Serena. Ang iba ay kung makatingin ay akala mo'y makakalaban kapag nagalit ako.
