"How'd things go yesterday?" Tina asks Mercedes as soon as she sees her.

Mercedes blows out a breath. "It was rocky. But we got through it."

"Mike was really mad and you and Quinn cried. I've never seen anything like it."

"We didn't mean to be so dramatic. But I guess it needed to come out. We had a very long talk and things are situated now. No more secrets."

"Are you mad at Marcy?"

Mercedes' lips move silently before she speaks. "I was at first but that's just how she is. She's not trying to start anything."

"Are you sure cuz she seemed like it to me." Santana meets them before they reach the choir room.

"Marcy doesn't like drama. She doesn't even like watching drama shows on TV."

"She didn't have to like it. She did it. But I do think she hated it. I was looking at her when she was dropping all those truth bombs and she looked kinda sad."

"My poor baby."

"Will we see her today?" Tina wants to know.

"I hope so. I don't even know what she's doing during the day." She goes inside the classroom.

Tina and Santana follow.

"Mama, are you okay?" Puck pops up.

"I'm fine." She raises a brow.

"Are you sure cuz you guys were fighting pretty bad when we saw you last." Sam steps in.

"We're fine." Quinn walks into the room behind them.

"Where's Mikey?" Mercedes questions.

"He went to the bathroom." Tina answers.

"You guys will see. We're fine."

Mike walks in. "Why are you all just standing?"

"They don't think we're fine."

"We're better than fine. We needed to talk and now everything is out in the open."

"Good." Mr. Shue says. The bell rings. "Go to class. We can meet up between second and third period to touch base but I'll see you all at rehearsals after school."

Mercedes checks her phone discreetly. She has a new text message from her sister telling her that she'll be there soon. Mercedes texts her back to meet in the choir room.

"Ms. Jones?" Her teacher looms over her desk. "Is it important?"

"It's my sister." Mercedes answers honestly.

"Is she safe?"

"I don't know. I'm trying to get her to come here so she will be but I don't know where she is right now. I'm worried about her."

Her teacher nods. "Finish up then pay attention. This is for your final project."

"Thank you." Mercedes quickly sends the missive then puts away her phone, thankful for rational human beings for teachers.

She sits through class and when the bell rings, is one of the first people out.

Tina hurries to catch up to her. "Do you really think Marcy is unsafe?"

"I wish I could shake the feeling that something bad is about to happen but I can't." Mercedes goes to her locker to exchange her books for third period.

"I think I feel it, too. Everything is too calm."

"Why does drama follow us around like a stalker?"
