"And tell yo momma to stop using me" I yelled out the window to faith as she walked in the school

"You tell her thats your girlfriend" she yelled running off to her friends

"Bad ass lil girl" I shook my head pulling off

"Y'all getting started early because we have something planned for today" I told Lyres and lyric

"Daddy it's Friday" lyric whined

"Mommy don't make us work on Friday plus we did extra yesterday" Lyres added in

"I'm not ya momma, and y'all doing extra because we may be busy Monday" I explained

"Really dad" Lyres threw his head back

"I don't want to hear it, y'all doing the work and that's it" I raised my voice a little

"We should've stayed with mommy" I heard lyric huff

"That's three when you get home" I turned to her

"You always beat us daddy" she responded back

"Lyric quiet" I said sternly

Seconds later I heard her sniffling

"You always crying lyric" lyres looked back shaking his head

"That's why momma didn't get you a phone because you still a big baby" lyres taunted

"Your phone ugly anyway" lyric stuck her tongue

"Just like your hair, with those nappy edges" lyres threw his rubber phone case hitting her on the side of the head

"Watch when we go back ima tell momma and she gonna take that stupid phone" lyric threw the phone case back at his head

"Aye chill out" I spoke snatching the case from the middle console

"What are we doing tomorrow daddy" lyric asked from the back

"It's a surprise" I smiled looking back

"I want y'all to go home and get started, just try and get as much work done as you can, even if it's just ya favorite subjects" I told them seeing lyres nod from the corner

"This better be the best surprise ever" lyres leaned back in the seat

"Nigga who you talkin to" I laughed looking over at him

"You old man" he laughed punching my shoulder

"Watch when we get home" I playfully threatened

"Is Monica at our house" lyric asked yelling from the back

"Yea she's gonna help me with this surprise I have for y'all" I glanced back seeing her smile

"Alright I want her to help me with my work, you can help lyres" she said making me frown

"I thought you like when I help you" I said playing sad

"Daddy you don't help me you just give me the answer and Mommy don't like that" lyric shook her head

"Ion give a damn what yo momma don't like" I spoke loud and proud

"Oh really" I heard Harlow's voice

"You wrong for that" I shook my head at Laz

"Hey Harlow" I grabbed the phone seeing he was on FaceTime

"Don't be talkin to my baby like you don't have no sense" she said stuffing carrots in her mouth.

"And who are you" I raised my eyebrow
