Chapter 6

Lazarus

"Come on we got to go see mama" I shook lyric who's body was spread across the king size bed

"Carry me" she stretched her arms out with her eyes still closed

Lifting her in my arms I carried her out of Harlow's room and into her room.

"Wash ya face and brush ya teeth Ima lay ya outfit out on the bed" Lazarus told his daughter

Picking out a sweat suit along with her high top Nike's and a pair of socks he set them out where she could see them before going to wake his son up

Lazarus

"Come on man, we bout to go see ya momma" I told him causing him to quickly sit up

"Hurry up I want to be out before eight" I warned before leaving out

Making my way to the guest room I made sure they were getting ready

Once I'd gotten the kids ready I maid sure everyone was settled before gettin in.

"How is she" I asked stepping on the elevator with Melvin, Harlow's dad

"She's awake but angry because all they're letting her eat is non flavored yogurt" Melvin laughed

"Do they know why this happened" Lazarus asked watching the numbers increase

"Yea they have a slight idea but they're looking into her medical history to be sure"  Melvin explained as we stepped off th elevator

"Mommy" lyric yelled rubbing over and climbing on the bed

"Hey baby" Harlow laughed kissing lyrics cheek

"I missed you" lyric expressed accepting more kisses

"Baby" Harlow opened her arms to lyres

"I'm sorry I scared you baby" Harlow embraced lyres as he cried on her shoulder

"Mamas fine don't worry sweetie." She rocked him from side to side

" how you feeling" I walked over her embracing her

" little pain in my hips but other than that I'm fine, oh and my feet are swollen like hell so I wouldn't be surprised if I do have the flu again" Harlow explained

Thinking about it this was it like when she had the flu only difference is the hip pain all the other times it was her knees

"I don't think it's the flu baby, I know there's no limit to the times you can catch it but four times is a little excessive" Harley shook her head causing concern on everyone's face.

"Well what else could it possibly be mama" slightly annoyed that her mom was being over protective

"She right lowy" Marley agrees calling Harlow by her nickname

"It's the exact same thing like all the other times, they're gonna give me that anti inflammatory shit and the antiviral drug then keep me a few days to monitor me" Harlow concluded causing her mom to shake her head

"Harlow don't do this, you're not stupid baby, just the other day Lyres told us how you were acting and you told me in the salon you haven't been feeling alright listen to what the doctors have to say and let's just go from there, hell we can even get a second opinion if that's what you want but don't keep pushing your health to the side" Marley cried out to her sister as she sat at her bed side

"What do you suspect it is mama" Harlow asked rolling her eyes

"I- I don't kno-"

"EXACTLY YOU DONT FUCKING KNOW SO JUST LET IT GO" Harlow yelled cutting her mother off causing everyone's eyes to widen
