Part 2: Day Out

"Two buggy's?" Lyres look back at me

"Umm Yea, go ahead" I nodded

"Lyric make sure you watch where you're going" I told her as she came back with a buggy

"Frozen food goes in your buggy lyric" I told her leading the way

We started at the back of the store in the frozen goods.

I grabbed two bags of the 15lb chicken wings placing them in lyric's buggy.

"Bacon?" Lenzi looked up at me

"Go grab it" I removed my arm from around her shoulder

"Turkey and pork" she held up two packs

"Go Get another one" I told her as she placed it in lyric's buggy

"Alright now we need cheese, lyric you go get that and Lenzi you go get some milk" I instructed the two of them

"Why us girls gotta do the hard work" lyric returned dropping three different kinds of cheese in the buggy

"Can we get blue cheese for the chicken?" Lenzi returned with two cartons of almond milk.

"Yea go ahead" I nodded

Once lyric's buggy was full I took over pushing while we began to fill lyres buggy.

"Your total is 312.68" the cashier turned the screen for me to see

Sticking my card in I waited for it to read my chip before typing my pin and removing it.

"All twenty's please" I told her receiving cash back

Taking the fullest cart I led the way outside and to my truck.

It took about 10 minutes for us to load everything in and even longer to put it all up.

"Alright you guys can start crunching up your chips, I need a break" I slipped my jacket off falling back on the couch.

"I need pads" I opened my eyes seeing Lenzi in front of me

"Mess up your clothes?" I stood heading up to my room

"No I used tissue" she shrugged

"The blue ones are overnight, and the pink ones are thinner and a size small, there's also tampons" I pointed towards the container under my sink

"Take the whole thing" I pulled the bin out handing it to her

"How do I use these" she held up the tampons

"Ok, let's just stick with pads" I took the tampons out placing them in the drawer

Taking the bin she left out to her room.

Back in the kitchen I helped the kids prepare the chips and the flower to fry their chicken.

Lenzi was frying the bacon for the cheesy fries and lyric was mixing the ingredients for their cinnamon rolls.

With a big pot it only took about 30 minutes to fry all their chicken and Lenzi had already finished with the fries.

"You eating low" Lenzi asked fixing everyone's plate

"Umm just fries" The chicken had been cleaned but I had to have a taste for it to eat it

Nodding her head Lenzi grabbed my plate dumping a load of fries on it.

"I'll do dishes tonight ma" lyres told me grabbing everyone's plates

"Thanks sweetie" I rubbed my hand over his head
