Pandora's Box

Two weeks later

Weeks had passed since the kiss had happened and Harlow had forgotten all about it pushing it to the side after an hour long talk with her mother.

Deep down inside Harlow didn't want to waste her time on Lazarus because he couldn't decide what he wanted she had things she still wanted to accomplish and refused to be held back.

Today was a big day for their household.

Today is the day they'll be moving Lenzi in. Her report card for the third nine weeks came back and she had straight C's and two B's and while that might not sound great she'd came a long way.

Lenzi use to not even show up to school let alone actually try, Harlow made sure to tell her to bring the grades up but she was proud of her A's in conduct and 1's in effort.

The day begin with the usual breakfast followed by them racing around the house making sure everything was in order.

Lyric's dog had ruined the carpet on the stairs so they were in the process of ripping the carpet up and replacing it with hardwood like the rest.

"Alright guys Mr.Dessi is outside"  Harlow called to her children.

Opening the door Harlow was greeted by Lenzi who was pulling two suitcases.

The transfer was rather quick and easy, Lenzi had about 5 bags of her belongings and since she was already close to Harlow she was welcomed right in.

"Your bedroom is the bedroom next to Lyrics, y'all have a joined bathroom it has two sinks so it'll work" Harlow explained grabbing two of lenzis bag

"The room is already decorated but if you want to switch it up you're free to do so. You already know how I am when it comes to your behavior  and your grades so when you mess up there will be consequences" Harlow continued opening the room door letting Lenzi in

"When you come in from school I'll usually have lunch ready for y'all but before you do anything else I want all your homework done. That's pretty much it, as long as you abide by the rules we should be good" Harlow placed the suitcases in the corner of the room

"Any questions?" She folded her arms

"Do I have a bed time and curfew" Lenzi looked up from the drawer she was loading with clothes

"Curfew 7 bedtime 10. Until I feel you deserve otherwise and I want to know where you're going and who you're going with at all times" Harlow answered

"That's fair" Lenzi nodded

"Thanks for giving me a chance Harlow. Since I was a baby you're the only person who stuck by me through it all I'll be crazy to mess all of this up" Lenzi smiled from her spot on the bed

"I'm not sending you back if you give me problems Lenzi, you're my child as much as lyres and lyric are so I'll just beat it out of you" Harlow laughed.

"Y'all done" lyric pointed to the door just as Harlow stepped out

"Yea go ahead" Harlow laughed stepping around lyric

Making her way back downstairs Harlow decided to start on dinner since it was near 4.

She'd found out all Lenzi's favorite foods so she was preparing a welcome dinner with her and the rest of their family.

They'd met her at lyres party but it was his day so they introduced themselves and that was it.

On the menu there was candy yams, fried ribs, cabbage, and old fashion cornbread all requested by Lenzi.

Then for dessert there is red velvet cake and mint ice cream also requested by Lenzi.
