Part 57

Monday Morning

"Alright we have grapes and strawberries, which one?" I sat both containers on the table

"Strawberries" lyric and lyres called out at the same time

"Lyric did you feed Hershey?" I looked up from the sandwiches I was making

"I forgot" she jumped down running out the kitchen

"Lenzi woke?" I looked up to Lyres making my way to the pantry

"Ion know" he shrugged

"Go get her up" I instructed placing a bag of chips and juice in each

"Alright" he answered before leaving out

After our day of fun yesterday Lenzi was grounded for two weeks as a consequence of breaking my rules.

She wasn't allowed to go to sleep until my kitchen and upstairs and downstairs living room was cleaned.

Also the tv along with all other electronics were taken away. I let her know the next time she did this she could forget about leaving the house because I had no problem homeschooling her because I'd be a lot less stressed knowing she's not out being grown.

"Yes?" She leaned against the doorway with her eyes closed

"I need my mile run sweetie" I nodded to the treadmill

"Looow" she groaned stomping her foot

"I'm tired" she walked further into the kitchen

"Me too. Tired of you breaking my damn rules. Go do your mile" I looked up grabbing both bags

"I can do it later, when you come back"  she walked closer leaning on the island

"See that's your problem. I done let you get away with too much Lenzi, I don't even let my birth kids do half the shit you do but I know your story so I went easy on you. I'm going to make this nice and simple NO SEX, MAX two C'S STRAIGHT A'S IN CONDUCT ALL 1'S IN EFFORT AND NO PROFANITY." I leaned down speaking directly to her

"Now make that 2 miles" I grabbed her shoulder turning her around

"Fucking hate this shit" She stormed out the kitchen

"Teenagers" I sighed at the sound of her door being slammed

"Lyric, Lyres lets go!" I called out grabbing my keys

Seconds later they met me at the door with their bags and jackets.

Leading the way out I closed the door locking it behind us.

"Don't forget I'm staying for practice mama" lyres stood at the front window as I dropped him off

"For what? Remind me I forgot" I gave him and uneasy smile

"Football, im just watching today then I'll decide if I really wanna join" he spoke leaning into the window

"Alright just text me when you ready" I responded was he backed away

Pulling off into traffic I stopped by a salad bar grabbing myself something before heading home.

I unlocked the door stepping in hanging my jacket up.

I dropped my food off in the kitchen before heading up to my small home office.

I quickly started the computer up then went to search for Lenzi.

"Did you do what I asked?" I asked from the doorway of her room

"Yea" she answered still facing towards the wall
