Harlow

"I told you I was fine mama" I spoke to my mom who was inching toward the emergency button

This morning I woke up with such a bad pain in my legs it hurt to even move them but I don't want my mother to know because then she'll start worrying.

"Your legs are twice their normal size, something is wrong Harlow" mama continued resisting

"My legs swell all the time their fine mama stop worrying" I told her trying to remain as calm as possible for her sanity

"Alright I won't call them but as soon as Dr.Evans come in I'm going to ask her about it" mama said finally taking a seat on the bed next to me

"Thank you mama" I sighed laying back finally able to close my eyes

As soon as I started to drift the door burst open revealing Lazarus and the kids along with his girlfriend

"Hey mama" lyres smiled coming over to hug me before handing me a gift bag and balloons.

" I got you someth-"

"Watch her legs lyric" mama cut her off stopping her before she could jump on the bed

"Come sit right here baby" I pat the side of the bed

"I bought you a gift and I made you a card" she handed me her gift bag and balloons

"You guys are so awesome thank you" I hugged and kissed their cheeks.

"Morning laz morning Monica" I spoke to them as Lazarus sat flowers on the bedside

"Thanks they're beautiful" I smiled looking over at the flowers

"what'd you get me" I asked Monica excitedly

I loved receiving gifts especially hospital ones because that when everyone didn't care the price because they thought you were dying.

Handing me a bag I immediately opened it pulling out one of the three personal hospital gown

"Aww these are so cute, thank you" I smiled pulling one out along with the matching silk bonnet and head band

"Boys leave so I can put it on" I told him pulling out the black one with red flowers and petals on it

"Can't stand females" Lazarus mumbled leaving out as lyres followed

Untying the the back of the old hospital gown I slid it off throwing it next to the bed on the floor.

"That's a nice bra, what is that" Monica admiring the bra I got from a sessional collection at Victoria secret

"My boo bought it for me, then complained about how expensive it was and tried to take it back" I laughed thinking of the day

"Shid let me find that online and send it to laz, hopefully he get the idea and don't make me beg." She laughed pulling out her phone

Slipping my arms into the gown I threw the covers off my legs before realizing.

"Help me" I looked over at my mom who sat watching

Standing from her chair she helped pull the gown down before tying it and covering me back up.

"Evans know you swelling like that" Monica asked taking a seat on the chair near the bed

"She won't let me call them, so we're waiting until they come in" momma explained

"It looks painful" Monica shook her head lifting the cover to look

"It's not that bad" I lied laying back down
