29: Two days later

Thursday

"Go grab your shoes lyric" I pointed over to the suitcase that Lazarus went and packed.

"You didn't answer my question" Lyric pouted handing me the brush to fix her hair

" Lyric I told you I don't know anything, you have to ask your dad or auntie" I sighed slicking her hair back

"What if she got really sick while driving and now she all alone somewhere" Lyric turned to me her eyes glossing over

"Lyric your moms coming back, all you have to worry about is keeping those grades up" I finished her hair adding a bow

" She needs to hurry and come back" she left going to grab her book bag and jacket

Once I had both girls in the car and buckled up I headed straight for their school.

Dropping them off I wished them a nice day before pulling off and heading towards Mama Harley place.

"Mama!" I called out stepping into the house

"Monica?" She gave me a questioning look as she stepped around the corner

"What happened? Did something happen to Harlow?" I asked stepping into the room to see everyone's low tear stained faces

"They found her car, on the side of the train track, we're calling the police stations and hospitals to see if they have her" Lazarus explained

"Well where is it? You want me to take you to pick it up?" I asked Lazarus

"Her car was totaled, some people saw it on the tracks when the train was coming and they tried to push it off but they didn't have the strength" Lazarus explained being the only one out of the two other women that could speak at the moment

"Where Melvin?"

"He went down to his office to check the system that way, the hospitals kept putting us on thirty minute holds" he continued to explain

"Anybody contacted Blake" I checked feeling she might know a little something

"Fuck that hoe" Marley kicked the coffee table

"For some reason Blake wouldn't answer our calls, then minutes later she called back and cursed us out talkin bout we foul for how we treated Harlow and we ain't no real family and she glad she left" Lazarus pulled out his phone showing me all the outgoing calls to a number

"Come on we bout to go visit her" I picked up my keys grabbing Lazarus hand

"Let me come cuz if something happened to my sister she getting her face stomped in" Marley stood from her seat on the couch leading the way out.

The ride to Blake house was silent besides Marley expressing how much she hated Blake and what she'd do to her.

Stepping out the car I went to ring the doorbell but instead I was pushed aside by Marley who began banging on her door.

"OPEN THIS FUCKIN DOOR BITCH" Marley continued to bang

"Where my damn sister" Marley pushes Blake back stepping in
