Day out

"Nigga sit yo ass back and take it" Melvin walked into the small office area they were sitting in

Ethan asked to get his ears pierced and Melvin took him since it would be quick but now Ethan didn't want it.

"I'm good Ion want it no more" Ethan hopped down from the stool going over to where Harlow stood talking to Lenzi

"Go get what you need and Ill come take it out" Melvin spoke looking down at Harlow

Melvin and Harley had given her the money to buy things for the baby and Harley made Melvin go to help her.

"I want the brown and white one" Harlow pointed to the crib

"Did you tell them?" Melvin shot her a quick glance walking over to the crib

"Online it says the set is $445 but he's telling me I have to buy the crib and changing table then they add the dresser and chair in but that's $1800" Harlow explained as they stood in the baby area

"I told her to let me handle it, pregnant people too nice" Lenzi continued to mug the white man who lied about the prices

"Finish shopping I'll handle this, you want the whole set or just the changing table and crib?" Melvin looked over at Harlow

"Just the crib and changing table" Harlow answered before walking off

Melvin could admit that he was still holding a grudge against Harlow,  he couldn't stand to be around her because all he could think about is how she had lied to him and kept such a big secret from him.

"So what am I paying, cause all I want is the crib and changing table, when my daughter came over here it was $1800 and online $445 so it just all of a sudden went up?" Melvin grew loud with the man as he discussed the prices

"Sir, I just told you we just placed these items on display, I was given the wrong prices and I literally just came back from my manager with the right prices" the sales men held the list of prices up

"How much for the entire set?" Melvin face grew bored at his excuse

"The entire set would include the Crib, changing table, a dresser, a rocking chair and a bed side table, that's 1,800" the guy listed off the paper

"Not including tax" he finished off

"Give me the entire set, I want it today so have it done by time I finish shopping" Melvin turned walking off

"You getting that?" Melvin walked up behind Harlow

"I don't know if the Jeep one is better or this one" Harlow stepped aside pointing to the stroller

"How much is the other one?" Melvin asked looking down the long row of strollers

"120, but it comes with the car se-"

"Let's go" Melvin reached down picking up a large box slamming it down on the cart

Holding back her tears Harlow stepped aside allowing him to push

"You got my shit?" Melvin stopped at the young salesman he was speaking with before

"Yes it's in the front, here's your ticket just give it to the cashier" he quickly handed over the small paper

"Y'all can wait in the car" Melvin dug in his pockets pulling his keys out and handing them to Lenzi

Harlow didn't object, she was tired of being around him and his don't care attitude was starting to piss her off.

"You hungry?" She looked over at Lenzi

"No" Lenzi shook her head

Her mood was also drained due to Melvin's attitude, on the way here everything Harlow said Melvin shut down or went against and Lenzi was also annoyed and tired of it.
