After a 15 minute scavenger hunt they were led to the back staircase where the huge box sat at the bottom
"All those decorations I help set up and all those times I talk to the baby about football she wanna be a girl" Lyres snatched his pin off his shirt throwing it on the ground
"Nigga real life crying" Marley mouth dropped as she pulled lyres into a hug
"Look on the bright side, you have Ethan and Titus" Marley rubbed his shoulder
"You're right auntie" he pushed away from the hug
"I can make her work for me like I do Lyric, two personal slaves" lyres wiped his face
"Great way to think about it" Melvin rubbed his shoulders
"Good thing it's a girl because I didn't come up with any boy names" Lenzi skipped from around the corner with a smirk
"Another whole niece, Harlow you gotta slow it down you ain't even 30 yet" Marley pulled Harlow into a hug as everyone celebrated
"I thought you was gon do some lame shit like a balloon or cut the cake type stuff" uncle Marvin shook his head
"And now we wait" Ashley threw her hands up before dropping them
"It least we can shop like we wanted" Harley smirked
"NO. She already has a lot of unisex clothes" Harlow pointed to her mother
"I'm the grandmother it's my right to spoil her" Harley shot back not backing down
"It's ok because you'll be babysitting" Harlow shrugged
"Sorry I'm late" Ryin stepped into the crowded room
"Oh hey" Harlow pushed Ashley's hands from her waist as she went to greet him
"I thought you couldn't make it" Harlow smiled pulling away from the hug
"They let me go, told them it was an emergency"
"This is for you" ryin held out the 4 big gift bags
"Aww Thank you, we already opened gifts so I'll open it after" Harlow went opening a near by closet to place it in
"I see I came at the right time" Ryin nodded toward the large balloons
"Oh, yea. I'm super excited" Harlow cheesed nudging Ryin
"Mmh ion like him" Avery rolled her eyes to the ceiling
"He's ain't even been here 10 minutes" Marley squinted her eyes at Avery
"I don't give a damn if he just stepped in the door, he look like my ex and ion like that" Avery gave her shoulders a hard shrug
"I thought you dated a girl" Marley shook her head at her friend
"Yea, he look like her... a bitch" Avery face remained serious as if she hadn't just gave them dumbest explanation
"We were just about to cut the cake so we could end this" Marley answered his question as to how much he missed
"Finally" Harlow rushed to the dinning room
After everyone had gotten their fair share of cake the party began to calm down.
Harlow remained in the kitchen with Ashley, Marley and Avery while everyone else was either getting rid of the rest of the guest or slowly packing up.
"Derrick call you about my gift yet?" Harlow's chin rested on the palm of her hand as she spoke
"It's not for you, it's for the baby" Marley looked up from her phone
