Agent Log 039:

Don't disturb me until tomorrow, please. I'm f*cking off on break!

There were rumors circling around in the unit of a museum infiltration being planned by the other side. So, Roger and I were sent on a mission together to investigate.

I know we've been referring to them as "the other side" without really giving an explanation as to what they are. Truth is, we don't exactly know what they are. The only thing we know is that they aren't good news.

Well that and the leader of the group. Fruit fly. I hate even thinking about him. Prenter. Yuck! As far as I know, his family are despots. They want to usurp all higher powers such as governments, monarchies, etc. and rule the world in a sort of Hitler-ish, dictatorship nightmare.

Now, nobody wants that. They are filled with morally wrong intentions. That's why Spies of Rhye was formed; to stop them from their ultimate goal. Prenter's sort of the heir to the other side's "throne." He's like the Miami over there, but y'know, evil.

I would like to believe there is some good in him, or that there is hope. There's always a bit of light in everyone, his is just encased in darkness. But right now I'm a spy. All I care about is foiling his plans.

We assumed John was tired from his first mission, so we decided to give him a rest. I don't know about Freddie. He told me he'll give Roger and I "couple bonding" time. Ever since the three of us first met, Fred's always thought we'd look good together. I mean, maybe.. wait! Don't interpret it that way!

I'm too busy for love. I've got better things to focus on than some relationship. It's a distraction. I can't believe Freddie told John, "There are more important things to focus on than girls," yet he's trying to play cupid with Rog and I!

God, he's so weird sometimes. We're friends, and I don't think Roger plans to take it any further. Not to discredit him, of course. He's candid, sweet, courageous - although it can be confused with foolishness - and he's always attentive with me. I can tell he can gets bored really easily, and as much as he says that my "smart" talking is boring, he always listens.

I smiled to myself as I thought about the blonde. We've had each other's backs for 6 years now. That rascal can be deathly annoying at times, but I love him. Platonic love, of course.

Tomorrow morning we would set off to the British Museums and see if anything had been tampered with. I've not been too keen about this one, as lately these missions have been quite dull, but maybe Roger will make it interesting. Get us into some sh*t I'd have to dig us out of.

It was half past six, and Roger would come at 7 to my dorm in headquarters. Rog's lucky that he has his own house out in the world. I don't really have much money, and any I do have I use it on food or purchasing supplies for any of my inventions, so I can't buy my own house anyways.

I remember when Roger had first started out. He was 12, even younger than Deaky, and I was 14. I was so shy and he was so outgoing, but much like him my family was in the business, so we found something to bond over. We became so close. Roger told me that when he got his own house we could be roommates. I at first scoffed at that idea, but I neglected how sweet that offer was.

It was so simple when were younger, even when it wasn't. Being a spy means getting used to the real world real quick. But us two were unstoppable! We always made our training a game. We made it fun! But we're adults now with more responsibilities. Now of course Roger hasn't drifted away, but we get so busy that we weren't as close as we were before.

But today we had a day off before going onto our mission together, so I invited him over for dinner and to hang out for a bit. I cracked open a book, relaxed on the couch, and kicked up my legs on the coffee table. for the remaining silence before the blonde came.
