"Thank God it's Christmas!" I bellowed out. I knelt down beside the small plushie cat John gave me which was so elegantly resting on the drawers, "Oh Delilah, dear, aren't you excited?"

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday! Whether it was spent with my family in my younger years, in SoR Japan, or SoR London, it was always the same kind of magic! No matter rough times would be, Christmas always was here around the corner to lighten the mood. Oh, I just remember the lovely meals we all would have in Japan! The table would be decked out with the loveliest of cuisine, whether it be holiday or nationally themed. It was all so delicious!

And the presents! I know I always talk about how hard I trained, and how I never truly seeked the Japanese world since I was stuck training all day. But the one time I did go out was for Christmas! I got all my mates these perfect gifts! And seeing the cheer on their face warmed my heart oh so much! We don't get to usually enjoy the simple pleasures of life as I spy trainee, but Christmas is always there. And now, Christmas is here once more! And I get to spend it with my darling Deaky!

I hummed to myself some Christmas tunes as I prepared my outfit for tonight. I was thrilled to meet the entire Deacon family. I just hope they're just as excited to meet their future son-in-law! Kidding, I don't think we're getting married anytime soon. John is much too young and still has a lot of life to live!

"Does this look good, darling?" I chatted with the non sentient cat. It's the only company I have left. Brian and Roger spent the holidays over at Bri's parents house, and it was too early for my visit to John. So, I'm stuck with Delilah. It's alright! She's a sweetheart!

Delilah was dead silent. I scoffed, "So much for your input.."

I wish I had a real cat. Not that I don't love the Delilah I have now, but maybe when this spy business is through, I can move out and get a real Delilah. And John and I can be her parents!

Flopping back onto the bed, I reached for the small toy and held her close to me. The day of the fair is a day I couldn't forget! It really meant so much that John cared about me having fun. He made sure I had the best day! I didn't get to do things like that, and so experiencing it for the first time with him was just magical! And so I treasure this plushie.

"I treasure you, Delilah," I cooed at the cat, "You're so very special! I wish I was special... just kidding, I know I am. I just like the song Creep."

I gently placed her on the bed and waltzed around my room, "But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo... What the hell am I doing here- wait! I need to sing Christmas songs!"

After I washed myself up and changed out of my pajamas, I opened the door to get breakfast downstairs because God knows I can't cook! One thing I love about this place is that even though they provide a stove in our room for us to cook with, they still prepare food for the few of us who can't. It's quite nice of them. Ooh, I wonder if they'll have Christmas cookies!

I crooned as I made my way to the cafeteria, "City sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style. In the air there's a feeling of Christmas! Children laughing, people passing-"

As I walked into the mini mess hall where I usually got my breakfast, I passed by a group of spies who joyfully waved at me. I waved back and smiled to myself. Continuing to sing, I grabbed a tray to pick out my meal, "Meeting smile after smile. And on every street corner you'll hear: Silver bells, silver bells. It's Christmas time in the city! Ring-a-ling, hear them ring! Soon it will be Christmas day~"

"And it is!" I cheered as I found a seat. I munched on my jam and toast and sipped on a warm cup of tea. It was all so cozy being in my fuzzy little sweater and loose trousers. Oh, and my Santa hat! You must always take the opportunity to be as festive as possible!
