"You, you can't do that!"

"Freddie, you have no say in this."

"I must have some say if you're confiding in me, deary," I snarled. "How in your right f*cking mind do you think this is bloody okay?!"

"It would make things much easier for us. You've got to be practical, Mercury," Paul attempted to reason with me.

Mary forced me to video chat Paul as soon as we landed in Singapore. I knew blondie, curly, and John were already here for about a few days now, which means we have to move fast. But this plan is just absurd!

"Because brainwashing people into this program is practical!" I sassed.

"We've done it before."

"Not to this scale. We're supposed to convince people to consider our motive by exposing the one percent. How the f*ck will brainwashing them help our case?! They'll just be mindless zombies!"

"Look, Freddie," Paul practically screamed, "I'm done with your sh*t. You're going to carry out this f*cking plan. You wouldn't like the consequences."

"Why?" I kicked my feet up on the table. "You're gonna kill me?"

Paul sharply inhaled, irritated beyond what I thought was possible. "I wouldn't want to."

"But you wouldn't hesitate." I narrowed my eyes. What choice do I have? Maybe this plan would save a person some misery. I acquiesced, "Fine. I'll do it. But you better give me a raise."

"Of course, Freddie."

"Bye, darling. I've got to get to work now, yeah?"

I hung up the call and sunk into my seat. I hate talking to him. The sh*t he makes me do! It's like I'm just a puppet for him to play with.

Now that spies back in SoR have perfected the brainwashing machine, which I've been trying to convince for them to take down for forever since I first caught them working on it, Paul wants to put it to use. I've only been there to see a few people get their minds wiped, but they've created something for a much larger scale. Something that could wipe a whole city out in an instant. There would be no need for all the hassle to try to expect the government and their awful, treacherous deeds.

It would affect too many lives. I don't want to force anyone against their will. I only want to serve justice for those who have been wronged by these people. I only want everyone to finally see the truth. I don't want this.

I can't do anything to fight. I'm stuck in this tricky situation. I've signed up for this, and now I've got to do it. Too deep in to try and get out now. Good going, Freddie.

"So?" Mary entered the room to retrieve her phone.

"Plan is to proceed as usual with Singapore and U.S. However, they're going to supply us with the proselytizing wave machines in case of further resistance. They'll finish up a larger scale one for Paris."

"When will they be shipping it?"

"Tonight. We'll have them by tomorrow morning."

"We can get to work on locating an SoR base here. I know it's close by."

"Darling, Singapore's the size of a city. It can't be too far off. Why would we need to locate their base anyways?"

"To score their plans!" Mary exclaimed, concise. She adjusted the cuffs of her coat, warning me, "You're too relaxed about this, Freddie. We're so close to getting this right, and I need you to be more of a leader."

"Me? A leader? Oh, you're talking through your ass, deary."

I never liked the term leader. It just doesn't feel right. I suppose having a leader to help guide others is a good thing, but people have twisted its definition horribly. It's no longer about working about a team, but rather the glory. That's why I refrain from using that term. It's no glorious duty to kill other.
