A/N: Oh boy... this author's note feels familiar to that one chapter in part one. You know which one. Also, I'll be describing what happened at the explosion. If this triggers you in anyway, please be cautious. Thank you for reading as always.

A chasmic roar bellowed in the air. The sound of exploding rubble, sirens, and the most deafening of all, screams. John growled at me. I knew he was upset. Actually more than that; absolutely pissed.

It just terrified me that he could have died. I stopped him because I didn't want to lose him. It was impulsive, I know. Maybe he could have finished, but I'd rather him alive than dead.

We swam to the shore of the river. Shivering. I didn't know if it was the cold or the fear. I hadn't felt this terrified in a while. They... they won this one. Miami said if we lost this, who knows what will happen to us!

John clenched his jaw and hugged himself tight. I scooted closer, trying to console him through all this chaos, but he only pushed me away. He grunted, his eyes away from me, "Don't. Just don't, Freddie."

"You... you would have died if I didn't push you off."

"Yeah? And what about the other hundreds of lives on that bridge? Did you think of them, Freddie? Who knows who's f*cking dead now?!"

I snapped, tired of John in all honesty, "And if I didn't do anything we would have died in that explosion too. You would have died! You think I could live with myself if you did?!"

"Well, you obviously wouldn't live either if you didn't let me finish my job. Nobody could have died if you weren't so idiotic," John fired back.

I held my breath. He couldn't have meant that. Well he sure said it. I stood up and spoke in a stern voice, "I'm going to find Brian and Roger and help them. You can stay here and mope around. We can't change this, but the least we can do is find the f*cker who caused it. And if you won't help and instead blame me, so be it."

I marched off. I managed to climb back up the rocks soaking wet. It was worse up here. The smog lay thick in the air. And through that, havoc unfold. People ran, screamed, and cried. Police began to file into the scene of the crime. I pushed through the crowds and found myself in front of a panicked Brian and Roger.

"Freddie! Oh thank God!" Brian gripped me by the shoulders, "We lost connection with yours and Deaky's earpiece once we saw that tower blow up. We thought..."

I shook my head, "We're fine. Just wet."

"Where's John?" Roger inquired.

"Down there by the river. He's mad at me."

"Why?" Brian raised an eyebrow.

"I never know with that damn kid," I rolled my eyes.

Some guy came running past us, cursing. Then police ran by. Now, I don't know about you but that's pretty suspicious. Decisively, I sprinted with the pack of officers and eventually past them. I caught up to the guy and tackled him down.

"Stay f*cking down!" I commanded as I held his arms behind his back. I threw his backpack off of him which the officers checked. And weaponry was found.

The police then thanked me for my "bravery" and escorted the man into the police car where he would be taken to cellar with the naughty boys. I heard his last few words echo from his dirty mouth in Japanese. Luckily, I know Japanese. It roughly translated to, "Long live the dragon! He will attack! He will reign!"

I made a mental note. That could be important down the line whoever this "dragon" was. Paul? Maybe. He's got his henchmen calling him The Dragon. Despicable.
