HAPPY READING...

It was evening already and everyone one was excited and dressed up for the party. Manik was suited up in a classic black tuxedo, joined by a grey tie.

And to compliment him, Nandini dorned a simple yet elegant grey gown

Manik made sure that only the important and minimal people attended the party. Even the paparazzi were not allowed inside the mansion. He knew Tara was still shy and could not handle being around so many people at once.

He had hired the best event planers around the town who had decorated the entire mansion as if a land straight from the fairytales.

But tonight's stars were neither Manik and Nandini nor the extravangant decorations. It was just their tiny daughter who stole the entire thunder in the cutest pink frock and a bow.

Tara was getting more and more comfortable with Cabir, Adi and their parents. So she was also quite calm when she saw other people. Although, she still preferred to be around her mamma papa all the time. And who could ever deny that little munchkin! Manik was all, for carrying his daughter in his arms all the time.

The party was on full swing. Screaming swarms of children ran through the house as bubbles floated in the air and balloons drifted around aimlessly on the floor among the discarded wrapping paper. Multi-coloured banners were draped on the top of each door. A stack of unopened presents stood in the corner of the room wrapped in smooth shiny wrapping paper. A silk bow had been carefully tied around each parcel. Hungry children loomed over the table which was filled with food. They grabbed at sandwiches and filled their mouths with sweets. A huge cake covered in thick white icing and decorated with tiny pink roses sat in the middle of the table surrounded by brightly coloured bowls that were filled with food.
