Elliot's POV
I can't sleep. All I keep thinking about is how perfectly she fits in my arms. Her skin is so soft and smooth. The way my hand sat so perfectly on the curve of her waist. I'm finding it hard to keep the dirty thoughts at bay. I don't know why, but I feel like she deserves all the respect and gentleness in the world. I feel like I want to protect her from anything that could possibly harm her.
What the hell is going on with me. I am never this sappy cliche guy. I mean, I am considered the 'bad boy'. I'm the quarterback of the football team, I get in fights a lot. I have my secrets though like for example, I'm a virgin. I know how can I be a virgin?! Simple, I haven't found a girl that interests me enough to be that intimate. Why is it that this girl is turning me into this guy? I mean, she's just a girl.
She isn't though. She isn't 'just a girl'. She's passionate, sweet, beautiful. She's funny when she wants to be, and she has demons. I don't know what goes on in that pretty head of hers, but I know I want to find out. I want to know everything about her. I want to know what makes her smile, I want to know what makes her sad. Everything. I know that's cheesy, but there's just something about her.
I have been laying in bed staring at the ceiling, unable to get Athena off my mind, for the hour or two. I don't mind though really. I like thinking about her.
I heard a noise come in from my window and I sat up in bed. She's in her room. I think she's doing homework, she's sitting at her desk. Part of me just wants to sit here and watch her, but I also don't want to be creepy.
I got up from my bed and walked to the window sitting on the bench seating i have there.
"What are you working on over there beautiful?" I asked catching her attention.
"Just some getting to know you type assignment from my government class." She said turning slowly to face me. I saw her wince a little when she moved too quickly.
"What kind of questions are on it?" I asked.
"Uhm you can come over here if you want? He's asleep." I'm assuming she's referring to her dad. I nodded my head and hopped through the windows the same way I did last time.
"Aren't you afraid he'll wake up?" I asked her when I landed quietly in her neat room.
"Oh no, he's exhausted he'll sleep all night easily." she said.
"Okay then let me see that paper." I reached my hand for the paper she had, nothing wall filled out yet. "Okay, let's see... What's your favorite color?" I asked the first question on the form.
"Uhm...I like emerald green I think the most." She responded.
"Okay, good. Now what is you favorite subject?" I asked the next question.
"Probably english, or PE." She answered. Interesting.
"PE?" I questioned. Most girls hate gym.
"Yeah, I like sports, I don't mind running or anything in fact it can be a nice release you know?"
"Yeah I get it." I read the next question "OKay, any siblings?"
"Nope I'm an only child."
"Okay, What do your parents do?"
"It says that?" She asked
"Yep, apparently Mrs. Khol wants to know about family lives. So?"
"My mom works for a big hotel company, she helps run and open new ones all over the world, so she travels all the time. He doesn't work, so he can travel with mom sometimes." She said and I wrote down her answers.
"Next, what do you want to be when you grow up?" I asked.
"Free..." she whispered quietly looking down at the ground. "Uhm a dance instructor or something like that. I'd eventually like to own my own studio." She said. I want to question her about what she meant when she said 'free'. I decided to let it go. For now.
"I think you'd be a great instructor." I told her honestly, as thoughts of her in the future popped in my head. "Next question, Oh I know the answer to this one, What's your favorite sport...Dance obviously." I chuckled and she nodded her head so I wrote it down. "Okay, next, What is something no one or very few people know about you?" I asked her the next question on the page. These questions are a little personal.
"Uhm, no one really knows that I dance, but that's boring so... I guess you can write down that I love crime shows like Bones or Criminal Minds." She said
"So basically, you could kill me and know how to get away with it?" I asked.
"Have you ever watched any of the shows? If I've learned anything it'd be that you never get away with it. There's no such thing as a perfect crime." She said with a laugh.
"Good to know." I laughed with her. She has such a beautiful laugh. "Next question, What's your favorite book? Who's your favorite author?" I read the two part question.
"Favorite author is Meg Cabot, always has been and my favorite book is actually a series by her the 1-800-Where-Are-You? series." She said and I wrote down her answer.
"Okay, only a few more questions. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?" I asked her, I think this question is my favorite so far.
"Uhm, I don't know, Hopefully I'll have my studio, maybe a nice home. A good guy to come home to, maybe a few kids. Yeah I definitely want kids." She said. For some reason my heart did a little flutter. Why am I imagining how beautiful our kids would be together.
"I think you'd be a good mom. D always tells me how sweet you are with the girls you teach." I told her. I watched the blush rise to her cheeks and she looked down hiding her face. I quickly pushed the thoughts of her mothering my children away and moved on to the next question. "Okay, What's your favorite animal?"
"Easy, panda bears. They're so cute and sill and clumsy." She giggled. Her eyes lighting up a little as she spoke about pandas. God she's cute. I don't even want to fight the thoughts. I totally have a crush on this girl in front of me.
"Panda's are cute, I personally like tigers." I told her.
"Fair. Tigers are cool." She chuckled.
"Okay last question, What's your favorite food?" I asked the last question on the form, glad that I've been making mental notes about her answers.
"Hmmm, I don't know sushi maybe? or pasta? Or chinese food....I just love food." She laughed and I wrote down her answer exactly how she said it. I laughed along with her and made a note to keep that in mind. I'm sure that will come in handy at some point.
"Good to know. Alright it's all filled out." I handed back to paper to her.
"Cool, now that you know everything about me, your turn. Answer the questions for me." She said and handed it back to me.
"Okay let's see, my favorite color is Blue. I like PE also, I have a sister Deliah. Dad's a doctor, mom passed away when I was twelve. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Football. Something people don't know about me....uhm that I took dance lessons when I was younger haha. I like the Harry Potter books, so those would be my favorite and the author of them I guess is my favorite too. In ten years, I too hope to have my own family, doing something that makes me happy even though I don't know what that is yet. Again tigers are the best, and lastly my favorite food is prime rib. yum." I rattled off all of my answers.
"I probably could have guessed that football is your favorite." She chuckled. "Prime rib is delicious. Ugh now I'm hungry." She laughed
"Me too," I laughed with her. I looked at her nightstand where she had an alarm clock. "It's already 1 am, maybe I should get home.." I said not really wanting to, but also know I should let her get some sleep.
"Maybe.." She agreed hesitant as well. "I'll see you in the morning though right?"
"Of course, princess. How else are you gonna get to school." I smirked at her
"Fair enough." She chuckled.
"Good night beautiful." I told her before flying back through the windows.
"Goodnight Eli."
