Athena's POV
"Are you excited to be spending the evening with Mark tonight?" I asked Eli as he came out of his room with a small back packed for his night out.
"Yeah, it'll be nice to hang out, we haven't had much guy time lately." He smiled. I like seeing him so excited to go hang out with his friend.
"What are you guys gonna do??" I asked him out of curiosity.
"We will probably play video games and talk about you ladies." He winked and I giggled in response. "What about you and the girls?"
Delaih and Savannah are on their way over right now, I figured I'd have the girls over while Eli spent the night with Mark. "Girlie things. Manicures, pedicures, face masks all of it." I smiled, just as excited as he seems.
"Sound like you girls are gonna have a blast." He smiled and kissed the top of my head and plopped down next to me on the couch. "I'm gonna miss you baby girl."
"I'm gonna miss you too Eli. That's silly right?" I chuckled.
"We haven't really spent much time at all away from each other since we moved in. We are accustomed to each other's company." He said with a silly smile.
I stuck my tongue out just as I heard the door slam shut. "Okay, time to go lover boy, I need best friend time." She shouted before entering the living room. We chuckled.
"Okay okay, I'm leaving. Dad should be here any minute with Deliah. I love you baby girl, have a good time and call me if you need anything okay?" He kissed me and I was eager to kiss him back.
"I love you too. Drive safe please." I urged after pulling away.
"Will do." He smiled. "Bye V!" He shouted before walking out of the house with an overnight bag.
I was sad to be apart from Eli, but over the moon to be spending the night with Savannah and Deliah. "Okay, before baby Voss gets here we need to have serious adult talk." Savannah said with a seriously look on her face. For some reason it made me laugh.
"Okay, what would you like to know Savannah?" I asked ready for an interrogation.
"First of all, how are you with everything?" She asked pointedly.
"I still get sad sometimes, but I'm okay." I told her honestly.
"Good." She said bluntly. "Have you and Eli...you know...since it happened?" She asked and I looked down blushing.
"No." I whispered. "I've been nervous." I told her honestly.
"I get it." She said as she laid a comforting hand on top of mine. "Have you thought about it at all?" She asked.
"All the freaking time." I groaned out before I realized I just told my best friend that I think about sleeping with my boyfriend. I instantly snapped my mouth shut and felt the blush creep back up my neck before settling in my cheeks.
She chuckled and raised an eyebrow. "You're allowed to think like that you know.." She said. "I think like that about Mark all the time." She said with a shrug of her shoulders.
"Have you guys had sex?" I asked, suddenly realizing I don't really know much about her relationship.
"Not yet. I think soon though. Maybe. I don't know. I'm nervous." She turned red this time and I let a small giggle pass my lips. Her turn to be all flustered.
"Nerves are okay." I told her "What do you think is causing them?" I asked, maybe I could help her calm them a little.
"I don't know. What if he isn't attracted to me?" She asked so quietly. I've never seen Savannah so self conscious before.
