Athena's POV

Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out.

"You okay?" Savannah asked coming up from behind me.

I was looking in the mirror trying to register that this is actually happening. I took a deep breath and lifted my eyes to my best friend.

"Yeah. I'm good. I just can't believe this is finally happening." I smiled wide and she returned it.

"I know, it took you guys long enough." She teased and bumped my shoulder with hers.

"Mama!" My face brightened even more as I turned and crouched down.

"I do. You look like a princess. Daddy's gonna love it too." I kissed her forehead and she giggled before running off to go sit with her Aunty Deliah.

I looked around the room taking everything in. Savannah and Deliah have on their bridesmaid dresses. Their hair is pulled away from their faces but left down in big curls. Makeup is kept simple, done by Savannah.

My three girls. The only girls I needed here with me today.

Today. My wedding day.

Eli and I had an unintentionally long engagement. We had planned on getting married almost four years ago, but I found out I was pregnant and we decided to save our money for the baby so we postponed the wedding. We were happy to do it though, well not happy, but it was okay. We just wanted to give Avery the best life we could.

Avery May Voss. Our daughter. She's three and the best little girl in the whole world. When we found out I was pregnant we were terrified. Not of having a baby, but of falling in love with her and losing her like we did the last time I was pregnant. That fear overtook my mind until the first time I felt her kick.
