"Tonight's homework is to finish this worksheet here and read chapter 13. There will be a short quiz on it tomorrow to make sure you guys did your reading." The bell rang releasing me from Mr. Belnick's english class. I don't have any friends in this class so I have no choice but to pay attention. I gathered all of my gear, loading it into my backpack and left the classroom.

"Athen! Wait up!" I heard Vanna shout down the hall. We were both heading to PE so we might as well walk together.

"Hey, have you talked to Mark since yesterday?" I asked when she caught up to me. She was late to school because she had a dentist appointment so I didn't really have a chance to talk to her this morning

"I mean we texted basically all night last night, if that counts." she responded with a deep blushing gracing her cheeks.

"Oooh. DId you talk about anything interesting?"

"We talked a bit about our dance and different classes we are in. We even talked about you a little bit."

"Me?" I asked curiously.

'Yeah, he told me about how you guys ran into each other at the park that one day, when you had hurt your knee. He asked me if I knew what happened."

"What did you say?" I felt my heart begin to race.

"That you fell when you were dancing. That is what happened right?"

"Oh yeah of course, I was just wondering how you told him I guess. I wonder why he asked, I already told him what happened." I said looking ahead of me instead of at her, so as to avoid her gaze and make sure I don't run into anyone in the busy hallway.

"I don't know. He just said something about how badly bruised your whole leg looked."

"Yeah, it was a bad fall."

We reached the locker room and quickly got changed into our gym clothes. When we got out to the gym and sat where we usually did before class Eli and Mark were both already there.

"Hey guys!" V greeted them when we approached

"Hey Savannah." Mark responded to her greeting shyly. "How was your appointment?"

"Good, no cavities!" she said proudly, smiling big to show off her teeth.

"Hello beautiful." Eli whispered in my ear from behind.

"Hi Eli, how are you feeling after I had you dance all day yesterday?"

"I'm actually a little sore. Which I never thought would happen, I mean I play football all the time and I'm rarely sore after, but dancing..." He trailed off, but I caught what he was trying to say.

"A lot of people don't believe dance is a sport, but believe me, it is. A very difficult one to master too." I told him and patted his shoulder as I laughed with him.

"Hello, Elliot!" I heard a nasal voice say from behind us. She had deepened it in an attempt to sound seductive. I couldn't help but let out a snort at her pathetic attempt. Bad Idea.

"Who did your makeup, you look ridiculous. You know your not supposed to bathe in it right" Bea turned on me. I had to wear makeup today to cover the bruises. I usually only wear really light makeup like mascara and powder foundation, but I had to use my stage makeup, which isn't that bad it's just full coverage. That being said, I know it doesn't look bad, I just checked it in the mirror. Everything is still covered and it doesn't look cakey or anything. She's just trying to embarrass me in front of Eli.

"Actually, I think she looks beautiful." Eli told Bea without taking his eyes off of me. I looked down and my cheeks grew hotter.

"O-of course...I didn't mean anything by it...I was just trying to give helpful tips." Beatrice said trying to back pedal.
