Akira's POV
As soon as I went back to my room and got comfortable on my bed, ready to sleep, I heard a loud thud coming from the living room.
It's only been like 3 minutes since I left. What could have possibly happened?
I decided to ignore the noise and to continue trying to sleep until I heard a male voice.
I jumped out of my bed, turning on the lights of the hallway and running out into the living room.
I saw a White Demon attacking a person who I couldn't quite see because it was so dark, but I saw Y/N behind them.
She had her armor and cloak on, hiding behind it whilst drawing her sword.
The person kept her behind them while they fought with the creature.
The creature had glowing white eyes and was hunched back. There's no doubt about it that it was a White Demon that he sent to distract her.
Artemis probably hadn't noticed that she was in my home.
What a pain.
The creature turned towards me. Its eyes shivered in fear as it looked at me. It quickly disappeared from sight, leaving the three of us alone.
The person turned towards me, and that was when I could recognize his face.
He grabbed Y/N by the waist and teleported out.
You could've just used the door, Park Jimin.

Y/N's POV
As soon as we were outside, he let go of me and stayed a fair distance away from me.
I lifted my head to look at him, a fire burning in my eyes. My sword lusts to kill.
I sheathed my sword and stared at him with a glare.
His expression softened as he stepped back a little bit more.
"You... You're not the Y/N I once knew. That look in your eyes towards me. It isn't the same anymore," he said.
"Yes, I've changed, which is the reason you should stay away from me. I could kill you without hesitation," I threatened, my hand on my sheathed sword.
He smiled sadly as he took a few steps towards me.
I unsheathed my sword and pointed it towards me.
"Come any closer, and I'll slice your head off," I warned, my hands slightly shaking.
"You're not even going to let me embrace you before I let you go forever?" he asked, stopping in place.
"If I embrace you, I won't be able to let you go. Leave," I said, my voice slightly cracking.
He nodded and stepped back, turning away.
"Thank you for giving me a chance to speak to you. Goodbye, my beloved Y/N," he quietly said as he left.
As soon as he was out of sight, I dropped to my knees, tears welling up in my eyes.
"Just a few years ago, we were staring up at the sky together, holding hands. How did we end up like this?" I sobbed.
I dropped my sword and sat there, crying my heart out.

Jimin's POV
As I walked away, the sad smile never left my lips.
I couldn't even cry or weep because of the pain in my heart that has lingered for 5 years, has grown even stronger.
This is the day I forget you, Kim Y/N.
But, I still can't.
My heart aches, knowing that you aren't scared to kill me.
Just like how we first met in the cafe.
Even then, you hesitated in attacking me, but now...
Now, you draw your sword at me without a second thought.
Maybe we weren't supposed to meet.
Maybe we should've just kept our distances and never reconnected.
If only...
If only it were that simple to forget about you.
In our past lives, we were lovers.
In our lives before that, we were a married and happy couple.
In this life, we are now strangers.
The sky we looked up together is gone.
Our relationship is gone.
Our feelings for each other are now gone.
We will remain as strangers for the rest of our lives.
But...
I have one thing to ask of God.
"May we meet in the afterlife, Y/N..." I whispered as I stared up at the pitch-black sky.

A/N: Sorry this is a little shorter than usual! I promise the next chapter will be longer!
