Part 6
"Will she be okay?"
"Yes, Aqua. Miss is stronger than she looks!"
"Lady Aileen must've over-exhausted herself again."
"That doesn't make us worry any less."
Blinking my eyes open, I looked around me and found my spirits huddled around me.
"What's wrong?" I asked quietly.
"Wah! She's alive!" Blaze yelped.
"Idiot, she's always been alive," Wind said.
"Miss, you're awake!" Aqua exclaimed and hugged me.
Hugging her back, I smiled and sat up, rubbing my forehead.
After a few minutes of explaining, this is what I concluded.
"Eh? I passed out and banged my head on a boulder? Is that why my head feels like it's spinning?" I guessed.
"We're so sorry, Lady Aileen!" they all said as they bowed.
"No, don't apologize! It's my fault for overworking myself!" I confessed.
Just then, a memory came into play.
"Aileen, you've been working too hard again! Ah, what am I going to do with you?" Artemis chuckled.
"I can't help it, I-"
"We're only 16 right now. Take a break, Aileen or else I won't talk to you for the rest of the day!" he cut in.
"Eh? Why are you threatening me with this? Alright fine, I'll take a break," I pouted.
Suddenly, my arms fell to my sides, and my eyes started to tear up.
"M-Miss Aileen?! Why are you crying?!" Blaze stammered.
"No r-reason," I replied as more tears began to fall.
No matter how many times I tried to wipe them away, they kept coming.
Was it because I missed Artemis so badly that any memories of him brought me to tears?
"Hurry, get tissues!" Blaze commanded Aqua.
As Aqua threw the tissues in her hand, Blaze wiped away my tears.
"You're crying for a reason, so please tell us," Wind said.
"It's nothing. I was thinking about something," I lied and smiled.
They all looked at each other with uncertainty in their eyes as they refrained from asking any more questions.
"Sorry for making you guys worry, but I'm fine now!"
Standing up and straightening out my dress, I walked out of the tent to stretch.
I pulled my hood over my head and turned back towards the tent with a bright smile.
"Do you guys want breakfast?" I asked.
"Yes!" Blaze exclaimed.
"That sounds fun," Aqua giggled.
"Breakfast would be nice, yes," Wind grinned.
"If you're alright with it, I am," Electro stated.
As we walked into the city, people gave us many strange looks as they always did.
"Blaze, it's probably because of your hair," Electro commented.
"No, it's definitely because of Aqua's blue hair," Blaze retorted.
