Artemis and Aileen (Dual POV)

Part 1

Y/N's POV

"Don't worry. The whole group is waiting in the dining hall. There's a special occasion today," Zen explained.

"Aileen, the queen of Artelle, has finally come back."

"About time. Isn't Aileen hiding in Y/N's body over there?" Akira asked, pointing at me.

"True. Oh well, Y/N will just be Aileen in her place," he shrugged.

I clenched my fists, trying to hold back my rage.

"Who the hell gave you permission to control who I'll be?" I seethed.

Zen smirked and put his arm over my shoulder, gripping it tightly.

"My dear, in this world, Artemis takes control of everything. Don't think for a second your decisions are made by yourself," he chuckled.

I grabbed his arm and twisted it until I heard a crack.

"You're so easy to piss off, damn."

I walked faster until I saw two large golden doors at the end of the hall.

Opening them, I stepped in, fully prepared to engage in combat.

Except, everyone in the dining hall was seated down neatly.

Food was served, but no one lifted a fork to try and eat it.

One by one, they all turned towards me, some of which I recognized.

"Welcome, Kim Y/N, to the castle of Artemis," Artemis said, breaking the silence.

There, was Hwang Nari, Ayasaki Mari, Shin Leo, Artemis, Park Seojun, and a face I didn't recognize.

Akira and Zen went to go take a seat.

Artemis was at the end, sitting in the middle, while everyone else was arranged to be seated across from each other as a stereotypical dining hall should be.

"Let me just make one quick adjustment," Artemis said as he stood up and walked towards me.

He snapped, and there was now someone beside me.

"Aileen?" I asked, staring at her in shock.

There she was, standing right next to me. She wasn't glowing like she normally was when she came to the human world. She looked like a real person standing there.

Did he force her out of my body?

Her face showed sadness as Artemis took her hand.

"Let go of her," I demanded.

"I-It's okay, Y/N. I'm okay," she assured me with a dull smile.

Not wanting to let go of it, I reluctantly nodded and took a seat next to Leo.

Aileen sat in front of me, playing with her food.

Aileen's POV

I feel like crying.

Artemis is sitting right there, in this very room just as he did hundreds of years ago that night, acting as nothing happened between us.

Even now, I still remember how we first met.
