"Forgive me, Lady Y/N. I just couldn't stand seeing them, so I spoke for you," Wind said.
"It was you? Why?" I asked.
"It enrages me to see that they've betrayed you, so I simply threatened them. You are going to take the throne from Sir Artemis, right?" He stopped and stared at me with a determined look.
It was almost as if I was supposed to say yes, so, for some odd reason, I said yes.
He smiled as if knowing that was my answer.
I had no intention of taking over the world, let alone even taking over this town.
Suddenly, something in my head clicked.
Maybe that would be better for the world.
Artemis is not fit to be king anymore.
Humans are just toys to play with.
It'll be better if I take control.
I'm the only one fit to be king.
I'll prove it.
I stopped thinking and just flew even faster.
I soared through the air with my wings, the wind blowing my cape off, showing off my armor.
Whatever, not like I needed that old rag.
My spirits smiled as they caught up to me in the air, each of them having their wings of their power.
Aqua had water wings. Blaze had fire wings. Electro had electric wings like mine, and Wind had wings made of wind.
"You guys should probably go rest. I'll look for a place to set up," I said, slowing down.
"No, Miss Y/N. We must serve you, so let us handle it," Blaze replied, matching my pace.
"Are you sure? It's-"
"Lady Y/N. We can handle this," Electro cut in with a firm smile.
"Just close your eyes," Aqua giggled.
It was a strange request, but I still did it.
And, I felt myself fall asleep soundly.
The next day~
I groaned as the sunlight hit my eyes, waking me up completely.
I sat up quickly, my eyes darting around my surroundings.
I furrowed my eyebrows as I saw that my surroundings were made of water.
"What the hell is this?" I mumbled.
"Good morning, Miss Y/N. How do you like the small hut I made with my magic?" a small voice came from behind me.
I sluggishly turned around, seeing Aqua standing behind me with a bright smile on her face.
"G-Good morning, Aqua. Yes, it's very nice," I replied.
She snapped and my surroundings turned back into dirt and grass. I was back outside.
"It's not good to waste magic," she whispered to herself as she chuckled lightly.
"Ah, you're awake, Lady Y/N. Good morning," Electro said as he walked over.
"Good morning to you too," I chuckled.
"Morning Miss! Have a good dream? What was it about?" Blaze exclaimed as she bombarded me with questions.
"Lady Y/N. Good morning," Wind whispered into my ear, scaring me and making me jump.
"A-Ah, good morning to you all. I hope you all had a chance to rest up," I commented.
"Yep! I slept like a dead person from what big bro Electro says," Blaze giggled.
"Alright. Let's get to work. First, training," Wind cut in.
I summoned my sword and enhanced it.
It had the swift of electricity, the power of water, the swings of the wind, and the glow of a fire.
I swung at a log, cutting it in half instantly, even setting some bits of it on fire.
"Wow! That's so cool! Do it again, Miss!" Blaze exclaimed.
"I'm afraid I'll set the whole forest on fire, so I'd rather not." I smiled and sheathed my sword behind my back.
"Lady Y/N. You need to learn the basics of summoning us," Electro said.
"Don't I just tap the bracelet, and you magically appear?" I asked, half-joking.
"Yes, that's one basic rule, but another is that you can force us back into the bracelet by tapping it twice if we are outside," he continued.
"That's cruel," I mumbled.
"Many of our masters have done it before. No big deal."
"Another thing is when the bracelet glows, that means we are talking to you from it. Take a look," he said, disappearing into the golden bracelet.
It started to glow, and I heard Electro speaking from inside it.
"See? It's glowing right?" he asked, his voice a bit glitchy.
"Yes."
I stared down at the bracelet, tapping it once and Electro was outside again.
"Or you can just call us by our given names, and we'll be out in a second."
I nodded and walked away, slightly smiling.
I took out my sword and swung it around, a light trail of red, blue, yellow, and white following it.
"Let's go now. The sun is not going to stay up forever," Wind commented.
I sheathed my sword once again, a little disappointed I didn't get to train with it.
I hovered above the floor with my wings, and they summoned theirs, matching my height.
"Where do you want to go, Miss Y/N?" Aqua questioned, her eyes scanning the area.
"Maybe somewhere-"
Right when I was about to finish my sentence, my stomach growled loudly.
"Let's go get some food?" Wind suggested, pointing down at a small village.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Blaze said.
I was embarrassed that my stomach rumbled, but they brought the mood up immediately.
Maybe...
Just maybe, this is where I belong?
