A/N: This takes place right after your encounter with Jimin.

~

How many times do I have to run into the goddamn forest?

I mean, I had to camp out here.

I'm already sick of the forest enough.

First Flara, now Jimin.

That time, I let my emotions get the best of me.

I shouldn't have let that happen.

Just then, a low growl came from behind me.

Forest Demons.

They're small but annoying.

They only come out if a human is nearby.

What a pain.

I drew my sword and pointed it at it.

But, there wasn't just one.

There were multiple.

Shit, they come in packs.

Glowing green eyes shined in the night behind the trees.

The one in front of me was the first to make its move.

It lunged towards me with its razor-sharp teeth sticking out.

I held my sword in front of me, letting the Demon jump onto my sword and die.

It disintegrated into dust, but more came flying at me.

I chopped each one up, but they just kept coming.

I'll soon run out of stamina.

I don't want to use magic because that will lure in other Demons much stronger than these guys.

After 15 minutes of nonstop fighting, I started breathing heavily.

When will they stop coming?

My movements slowed.

My sword was wobbly.

I might die out here if this keeps up.

Death by these mere Forest Demons.

How shameful.

Suddenly, I heard 10 rapid sniper bullets being shot.

That gun.

There's no doubt about it.

There's only one person I know who has a rapid firing sniper rifle.

"What's wrong? Did you spend those 5 years doing nothing?"

He jumped down from the trees with a loud thud.

"Long time no see, Y/N."

Shin Jiho.

He smiled at me with an unusually cheerful smile.

I activated my jumping ability and was about to jump away, but he grabbed my wrist tightly, keeping me in place.

"Man, you're such a pain. Stop running away already," he said as he knifed a Demon.

"Let go."

"Nah."

"I've got this handled, so get out of here," I protested.
