Heya everybody! Before we begin I have a couple of things to say and a few disclaimers so that we're all on the same page.
This story is an indirect sequel to a story a published in 2017 called Finding My Voice which was a story taking the premise of Pokémon Red and Blue's story and turning it completely on its head.
Gold is basically the same idea as that but I've taken it to the next level in many ways. This story is set ten years after the events of Finding My Voice and features the tale of Gold and his friend Silver journeying through Johto.
I highly recommend you check out the first story to get a better understanding of the universe and the characters. But if you don't want to I can't stop you. You can still read this story on its own. But it functions better with the context of the last story and is written as though you read Finding My Voice.
The characters will not reflect their official portrayals. They may take elements from the official media but these characters are not meant to represent the actual characters.
So with all of that being said, it's finally time for us to begin the story of Gold. I hope you all enjoy.
