"Frank, it's fucking freezing out here, what the fuck were you thinking?!" Alex exclaimed, her breath clouding up her vision.
"'It's good to see you, Frank. It's been a minute.' 'It's good to see you too, Lex! Glad you came.'"
Alex rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She glanced over at the swing set and bore witness to Mai rocketing off a swing and landing headfirst in the mulch.
Raising an eyebrow and suppressing a laugh, Alex asked, "How did you convince Mai to come out?"
"...We were gonna smash her drawing tablet," Frank maliciously smiled.
"Yeah, and thanks for dragging me out here!" Mai shouted. "I'm having so much fun!"
"Oh, hey!" Raven ran over to Alex. "Thanks for the board!" The white–haired girl yanked the skateboard from Alex's grip before running away.
"I... Anyway," Alex walked over to the swings, sitting on the one that Mai previously launched off of. "Bet I can swing higher than you."
