"So, are we any closer to resolving our predicament?" Mai asked, walking into the living room.
"No," (Y/N) sighed, running a hand through her bleached hair as she scrolled through her laptop. "But I applied for an advertisement in the newspaper and posted a job app online."
"Well, at least you're doing something."
"GUYS, GUESS WHAT!" Alex exclaimed excitedly, running into the room.
"What's up?"
"LUNA SAID SHE'S WILLING TO FILL IN IF I TEACH HER ALL THE SONGS BEFORE TOUR STARTS!"
"Oh, neat!" Mai exclaimed, "So I'm assuming you're running off to Luna's place?"
"YOU BET!" Alex shouted as she ran out of the house, nearly tripping over the pile of shoes at the door.
"Wow, fantastic timing," (Y/N) sighed, pulling her laptop back out.
"Y'ALL," Raven ran into the living room.
"What?!" We all shot our heads at her, Alex walking back into the room.
"I—don't know.." Raven said, her volume lowering drastically. "But did you guys get anyone yet?"
"Yeah," (Y/N) sighed, stretching her arms.
"Well??! Who?!"
"Luna, if I can teach her all of the setlist before Friday," Alex stated, closing the door behind her as she walked back outside of the house.

"Hey," Alex mumbled as she walked through the front door. "Hey, how much did you teach her?" Raven asked, yawning right after.
"The— the whole set list. Multiple times. Until she memorized it completely," Alex slurred, walking to her room as her left arm dragged across the wall.
"Well, that's great. At least we have a rhythm guitarist now," Raven sighed, rubbing her eyes. "I think I'm gonna go to bed. G'night," she muttered, getting off the couch and making her way down the hallway, and up the stairs.
(Y/N) sighed, getting up from the couch and turning off the television. She dragged her feet across the floor as she slumped to her room, closing the door behind her.
Oh, I forgot I left Mikey in here, (Y/N) thought to herself, climbing into bed next to him and pulling the blanket over herself. A few seconds later, as she almost fell asleep, she could feel Mikey wrap his arms around her.
"You're awake?" She mumbled into his chest as he muttered back, "mhm."
A few minutes later, they both drifted to sleep.
