Two days later, Alexander returned to school. He had gotten suspended two days, and Jefferson for five.
He still had a black eye from the fight.
But he still looks cute-
Wait what-
I didn't have any classes with him until after lunch, so I only got to see him for a split second at his locker.
At lunch I sat down at my usual lunch table. Herc and Laf were already there, talking about marvel.
I partially listened, as my eyes wandered the room. Most of the tables were full. There was the popular guy table, with Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Aaron Burr, Charles Lee, and James Reynolds. Most of them were douche bags, but they weren't always too bad.
And, of course, the popular girls table, which consisted of the Schyler sisters, Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy, and Maria Lewis.
There was random tables with random friend groups, like us.
I was about to go back to the conversation my friends were having, when my eyes landed on him.
Alexander stood in the middle of the cafeteria, looking like a deer in head lights, looking around for somewhere to sit. Now that I think of it, this is his first time in the cafeteria.
Before I knew what I was doing, I was calling out his name and signaling for him to come over.
He smiled gratefully, which made my heart melt, and sat down beside me.
I'm in too deep.
