I walked towards my mothers car, who was waiting to pick me up. I told the nurse that I felt sick, so she called both my parents. My dad couldn't be bothered to pick me up, so my mother did.

I opened up the car door, and sat down, not saying anything. My mother took notice of this, but didn't question it until pulled out of the school parking lot.

"So... you want to talk about it?"

"No."

"I know you're not sick..."

I sighed. My mother always knows this stuff. It's like some, weird, mom, superpower.

"Yeah..."

"So, what happened?"

"Crush stuff.." I said, looking out the window. Water droplets fell against the glass.

"Well, why don't you tell me about her..." My mother said, as I flinched at the word 'girl'.

"It's not a her, mom... it's a him..." I said, slowly, choosing my words carefully.

There was silence for a few seconds, until she spoke up.

"Okay, how about you tell me about him?"

I immediately brightened up and smiled. Not a fake smile, but a real smile.

So I told her.

I told her everything I love about him. How his eyes sparkle when he's in class, learning new things. How his voice sounds like a angel. How he's determined, opinionated, and strong willed, but also caring, and kind. How he's perfect, and makes my heart melt.

"It sounds like you really like this Alex."

"Yeah..." I said, smiling to myself. "I guess I do."
